We've generally enjoyed staying at the Riad Zam Zam. The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. Breakfast on the roof terrace was one of our daily highlights. The Riad is well hidden, but after some orientation we managed to find it ourselves coming back from our tours. Walking through the dark alleys of the medina in the night is a bit adventurous, so this might not be ideal for families with kids.
The only issue we had with the Riad and I'd suggest the management should do something about that, is that the rooms on the 1st floor can be quite noisy. Apparently the washing machine on the top floor (which can be turned off) as well as the water pump (which cannot be turned off) produce a humming sound which can be disturbing. Especially when you come back from an exhausting tour through Marrakech and were hoping for the beauty of silence in the Riad.
But besides that, our stay was perfectly organized and we will probably visit again in the future.
