Good set menu lunch on nice terrace with parasols if sunny. Good value but price does not include service charge as waiter reminded at every opportunity.

Saw this recommended in the Rough Guide and it was not far from the Riad. Complete lack of atmosphere greeted us but we decided to have a pre-dinner drink and look at the menu. Bad idea ... probably the worst drinks I have ever had. The menu claimed 'happy hour 2 for 1' - it should have said 'unhappy hour - pay loads for naff drinks'

After waiting ages for the second of the two for ones - hoping they would be better - we left them and headed back to the Kosybar.

All the staff appeared to be around 17 / 18 - not much evidence of customer service and they certainly can't make cocktails.

Avoid.

After wandering the tombs and palace and other touristy stuff, we decided to have a nice roofftop lunch here. We'd had drinks there a few days before and wanted to go back for the food.

It's beautiful! The palace orange grove is right over the wall with a view of the snow-capped atlas mountains in the distance. The service is pretty slow, especially considering we were the only people on the terrace.

The food was so good! We opted to share a lunch tajine, which the waitress warned against doing, but we did anyway. The salads were typical for Marrakech but delicious, nonetheless. We ordered a chicken with prunes and almonds tajine, which is quite possibly the most beautifully spiced piece of meat I have ever had the pleasure to consume. The meat just fell off of the bones, it was so well done. I guess that's the beauty of cooking in tajines, though! Sliced clementines with cinnamon sugar and coffee ended our late lunch. Cocktails are also available and I recommend Le Maison (it contains Campari, which is my favorite).

Be sure to poke around the grand dining hall on your way out!

The food was plenty and delicious!

The location is amazing, the terrace overlooks the city with the high Atlas mountains in the distance and a mosque a short distance away with a stork family living on it.

Alcoholic beverages including cocktails are a most welcome in this secluded and relaxing environment.

Service and staff are friendly! All in all a most enjoyable experience.
