We turned up on a Staurday night at 7:30 and were very lucky indeed to get the last unbooked table. The place was soon full of family groups and groups of friends of more "westernised" dress habits, with little obvious sign of lots of tourists. We were on a tight budget as it was our last night in Morocco.
The menu was very wide and comprehensive, the service impeccable and the food very good indeed. We were able to have a main course and dessert for about £10 pounds each, so didn't have to stay to do the washing up! The only disappointment was that we were seated in the small, quiet upstairs area instead of the main room whwere there was a bright and buzzy atmosphere.

"Yummy" is a great description for this Italian restaurant. We ended up going twice because the first time was so wonderful. From soups to wood-baked pizzas to pastas to salads to wine to desserts, all the food was delicious.

It opens at 7:15 p.m. and both nights we were there, the place was packed within 10 minutes of opening. Either book a table in advance (tho they don't always answer the phone in the afternoons - we tried!) or get there just before it opens.

Great value for money. Service is friendly, atmosphere is homey.

We (parents and teens) all loved it!

Decided to try this restaurant after 2 consecutive dinners featuring tagines. We fancied a change ! and although it seemed a bit weird to be going to an italian in Marrakesh, the guidebooks all gave it good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. We booked for a friday night and if we hadn't booked we wouldn't have got a table. The place was packed. Obviously frequently by lots of regulars who were known by the waiting staff. Really friendly service and a fantastic bustly buzzy atmosphere. I started with the house salad which was enormous and I could hardly finish it. My husband had a meat platter which he said was very good. We had pizzas for main course which were good and we finished with a shared tiramisu which was very good indeed. The food and wine prices are really reasonable.

If you want a true morrocan experience this is clearly not the place for you - but if you fancy a change from morrocan fare and also want to see another side of eating out in Marrakesh which is not aimed at tourists but at those who work in and around the new town I would definitely give it a go. It is easy to find and was a pleasant stroll to/from the main square.
