We, Hannibal Reizen, a Dutch Tour Operator for walking holidays, stayed with our 14 guests 3 nights at Loek's beautiful home. First of all we had a warm welcome by the Dutch owner. Before showing us the rooms he gave us a lot of information about Marrakech.
We had dinner in the house. It was great, delicious and generous. The food was prepared and served with love by Karim and Zara, two lovely members of the staff.
All this together gave us right away the feeling we were staying with friends. So don't look further for other adresses to stay, Riad Aicha is the place to be. Frank de Jong and 14 guests.

We stayed in Riad Aïcha at the end of january and it was the perfect spot to start exploring the city, located in the oldest part of the Medina. Service was great, room was cozy and breakfast/diner superb. Loek, Karim and Zara do an excellent job at making customers feel at home.

We booked at Riad Aicha january/2015. At the beginning we were afraid of the neighbourhood. The second day we felt as "in our own house", no fear, no insecurity, we could walk alone until too late and feel safe.
The rooms are excellent and the service perfect. They prepare our breakfast every day for the hour that we need it. Soon or later. Excellent quality.
Highly recommended.

The minute we arrived in the Riad we felt home. Loek is a great host and he made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and Karim's cooking class is really a must-do. The staff is very friendly and the place is just beautiful.

Like:
Great beautiful spacious room, clean, beautifully decorated Riad, very nice owner and staffs, sumptuous breakfast.

Dislike:
Hard to find this Riad, unable to contact owner. Called the Riad number but the person answered the call does not speak English. We then call another owner mobile phone number and this turn out to be Holland mobile number. The phone charges was extremely expensive which cost us USD60 in our phone bill just to attempt contact the owner several times !!! and yet unable to get the owner( at the end found out from owner he just lost his mobile phone). We could not find the Riad until we got a local SIM card and used Google map. There are 2 Riad Aicha in the map, that made us walked very far because we went to the wrong one first and was harassed by street hustlers several times, the last group of men even blocked our way to the Riad demanding money before we could ring the bell at the door step of Riad Aicha and we had to pay them! Street hustlers is a major problem in Marrakesh, they are very very very annoying and could screw up your day.
