Wow! I'm not sure holiday accommodation can get any better than Riad Idra.
My wife and I spent 4 days in Marrakash on a 'Baby Moon'. We where picked up from the hotel and delivered comfortably and safely to the Riad where we were welcomed by Karine and a lovely cup of Mint Tea. We had a little unexpected treat in store as we had been up-graded to the suite!
Riad Idra is a true oasis. It is clean, well decorated - we have pinched a few ideas for our own home - and extremely comfortable. Its perfectly located in the old town too. Every thing is in walking distance. The service is friendly, professional - second to none. Karine was extremely helpful in suggesting places to eat and must see sights.
We had pre-booked a Haman at a spa nearby but decided to cancel it and have one in the Riad instead. If you have never had a Haman before, I thoroughly recommend it! Especially after a busy day in the souks. They have a little massage room too. One stand out point for us was the breakfast. Breakfast was held on the roof terrace which was lovely and calm and a little sun trap. Breakfast started with fresh fruit salad followed by a local dish, which changed every day, followed by home made pastries, breads and jams. Yum. We actually regret not trying dinner here too.
Don't think twice about booking here. It is truly fantastic. You will be very well looked after.

Room Tip: We had the suite which had a jacuzzi bath! Awesome!

An oasis in the middle of the Medina; incredible attention to detail from the moment you arrive. Beautiful property, delicious breakfast, impeccable service. The manager, Karine, made our Marrakech trip exceed our expectations which were pretty high already. I never write reviews but Riad Idra is definitely worth it; don't think twice before booking, you are in the best hands.

Very charming Riad with lovely manageress and staff! Manageress, Karine and her team were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and our room along with the entire Riad was very peaceful, clean and beautifully decorated. The Riad is in an excellent location within the Medina and Karine was excellent at sharing her local knowledge and advising our activities throughout our holiday. Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be returning in the near future.

This Riad is wonderful - location, service, furnishings, ambiance, food - all top notch. I have been to Marrakesh before but my husband hadn't and he loved this place. Karine runs a very tight ship. We recommend it.

Lovely riad in an excellent location in the Medina. Manager gave us a run down on best places to visit, eat and relax and she runs a very efficient and comfortable riad. Great food, friendly staff, nice roof terrace, clean & beautifully decorated rooms. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

This is a very peaceful and beautiful Riad in a perfect location on the edge of the Medina. We have just spent a week staying in Marrekech and the highlight of our stay has been the time spent at the Riad. The team, lead by Karine is what makes this place so special and sets it apart from anywhere else we've stayed. Your every need is attended to in a very non-intrusive manner. Karine is incredibly efficient with lots of helpful advice on what to visit and where to eat. Mention must be made of the excellent food served for breakfast and evening meal, certainly of a very high standard with wonderful flavours - we ate in the Riad 3 evenings during our stay and they were certainly the best meals we had. The bedrooms and suites are furnished in rich colours and all very clean and luxuriously laid out. The spa facilities were great and certainly worth sampling. All in all a wonderful place, so much so that we have already booked to go again. Very highly recommended.

Dear Jane, Dear David,

Thank you very much for sharing on Trip Advisor your opinion about your experience at Riad Idra.
We were very delighted to welcome you in our “house” and we are pleased to know that you had a lovely stay with us.
We’re glad you enjoyed the flavours of the meals served in house. As you know, in order to offer the highest quality of a homemade food, we cook only fresh products and we prepare it à la minute. That’s why we request a booking in advance for any lunch or any diner at the Riad.
We look forward to your next stay with us, you still have so much things to discover here.
See you very soon !

My husband and I stayed at the Riad Idra on the weekend of November 8th. We were welcomed by Karine who is the manageress and she was incredible! The Riad is centrally located and easy to find once you get your bearings of all the ally's and streets. The room we stayed in was overlooking the court yard and was absolutely gorgeous the only downside was that one morning a group of people were leaving early and they woke us up as they were chatting loudly in the court yard. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was so fresh and healthy a great way to start our day. Karine was so helpful by sitting us down and outlining an itinary for us. She understood us as a couple which was great as she pointed us in the right direction of all the things that appealed to us, like resturants, shops, cocktail bars and all the cultural things. We had our own itinary from reading books and researching on the Internet but luckily Karine re wrote it for us and it was for the best and made our weekend so much more enjoyable. The Riad is really clean, smells beautiful at all times and the staff are so attentive, efficient and friendly overall a really special experience. Enjoy Marrakesh we felt really safe as all the police are undercover make sure you check out les bains de Marrekesh for a hamman such good fun, eat in the souk, take a horse and cart ride around the city, go to le Comptoire for dinner and belly dancing, cafa Arab for drinks, le jardin for drinks, and spend time in the souks and markets so so fab just people watching and buying loads of souveniers. We went to cafe France to watch Sunset very chilled xx
