“Amazing relaxing holiday experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2014

My partner and I stayed at the palace for 1 week. We wanted a peaceful but interesting break. We had both. What a fabulous time we had. Excellent service from the moment we arrived, all staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The grounds and poolside were immaculate. It was the most tranquil experience I've enjoyed for a long time! We used the spa facilities it was again perfect. We were in a suite, big traditional rooms. One evening we asked for 2 wine glasses as we had bought a bottle of wine from supermarket. They arrived at our room with an ice bucket and crisps and nuts for us ! What a lovely touch!! The hotel is in the more up market area with great choices for places to eat and drink. A little more expensive but well worth it. It's a 15 minute walk to medina and souks. So your close enough but not too close with all the hustle and bustle it has. Our only little complaint was that there is no tea or coffee in room. But I'm sure if we had asked it would have been organised. As a rule we don't go back to the same hotels but we would definitely return to the Es Saadi palace.

Room Tip: Stay at the palace not the resort. Little more expensive but you get breakfast and your own transfer...

I have been lucky enough to have just returned from a week long stay in the Es Saadi Palace. WOW! What a place. An oasis of calm but just 20 mins walk from the centre of the mind boggling Marrakesh. The hotel itself is beautiful, expensive but if you want luxury and location you cannot ask for better. Catering mainly for adult French guests as you'd expect, lounge poolside in a vast manicured garden (look out for the tortoises) and gaze up at the burgeoning orange trees with the snow capped Atlas mountains in the background. I agree that the evenings were very quiet here for the nights that you don't fancy the bustle of the centre - we found a great little Cafe round the corner - Extrablatt which was fun and relaxed. The junior suite we were in was amazing - huge and every detail seemed to be thought of, including a menu of 12 pillow types to choose from to ensure your comfort. A meal on the 3rd floor restaurant is a treat - stunning settings and a very pleasing view - not to be missed.

Overall this holiday was just what we were looking for. Luxury and location.

Thanks.

I was lucky enough to stay in one of the villas with my boyfriend for my birthday and I could not really fault anything. The villa itself was beautiful and private, we woke up to the sounds of birds in the beautiful gardens, service was attentive and friendly, the rose petals on the bath mat and the addition of Moroccan soap and products in the bathroom were a nice touch. For those who are peculiar about pillows there was even a pillow menu if we wanted to change for something more specific (we didn't but I was definitely curious).
The Palace nearby is quite a stunning place, with ornate walls and ceilings and beautiful Moroccan furniture and details everywhere, it is beautiful both inside and out.
The entire hotel felt like a little oasis of peace and greenery, only a few minutes cab drive from the craziness of the Medina. All the staff was friendly and helpful, from the staff at the breakfast bar to just about anyone else we saw, even the gardeners said hello with a smile! The garden has a heated pool, which was perfect for the sunny (but not yet too hot) warm weather. We had a hamman (with traditional black soap) at the spa, which was really relaxing and leaves you with incredibly soft skin, definitely worth trying!! The pool and choice of steam baths were also pretty good, especially after a day walking around the souk and the Medina. Needless to say I (well we both) could have stayed there longer rather than fly back to reality and work. Would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Any of the villa would be great, and probably any of the Czar suites by the pool or of the rooms ove...

Dear Guest,

Many thanks for your detailed review following your stay with us.
Right, you had one of the 10 Villas with own private pool, garden and dedicated butler service, in the middle of our 8 acres parc in the heart of downtown.
We wait for you to come back !

Stayed 5 nights at the hotel in one of their poolside villas - well a house actually with butler service!! Unable to fault anything. Great experience in terms of service and dining. Hotel a little quiet in the evenings but with Marrakesh a stones throw away...who cares!!

Cant wait to go back

Room Tip: Go for a Ksar - the extra is worth it believe me!

I stayed her for 3 nights for a business conference. The rooms are VERY spacious, with comfortable beds, large and clean bathrooms. My room had a lovely view of the distant snow covered peaks of the Atlas Mountains. The conference facilities are fine as are the lunches. We had a private dinner in the 3rd floor function room which was a great setting with views over the gardens. The Medina is about 500m away if you feel the urge to be hassled and ripped off.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for your positive post following your stay with us.
Yes, our rooms (we only call them Suites) are minimum 70 sqm ... up to 200 sqm, so quite big. All Suites have view on the Atlas mountains, with snow in winter, so you are in Marrakech with 23 degrees today and see at 1 hour driving distance the white mountains ... Magical ! Enjoy the view with a swim in the heated pool at 26 degrees ... Cheers

Set in large gardens just 15 minutes walk from the Medina this recent addition to the Es Saadi Resort is a joy. Offering only suites and all with a garden and mountain view this is the perfect retreat from the chaos of the city. Wonderful pool facilities indoors and out. Free access to its own 'hammam' with many different water treatments - and few customers is a welcome bonus. Above all the service was faultless, happy and polite. The bar and restaurant are a little quiet but you can always relax on your balcony watching the sunset over The Atlas Mountains.
A more prosperous, predominantly French crowd when we visited, set the tone for an upmarket, but relaxed break.
