I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my company, a quite large crowd of sun hungry Norwegians! We entered the hotel before sunset and was met with luxury beyond. The atmosphere, the ornate detailing in every corridor, stairway, doors, tiles, rooms and outside garden and pool area just stunned us all. My collegue and I roomed together and ended up staying in a 2 story house, each allowing us to spread out in our own individual queen size bed like starfish. The bathrooms were decorated with maroccan details, floor rugs laid out with rose petals spread out onto them. Just the little extra. Each night 3 chocolates were set on the night table and bottled water, bedsheets pulled aside and curtains drawn. My other collegues in gorgeous rooms with spacious balconys overlooking the garden area. Friendly staff everywhere, giving me opportunity to freshen up my french vocabulary. My company enjoyed the heated pool and poolbar. Hard to know what a glass of wine actually cost, prices differed a bit..also the nespresso capsules in the room were not for free as we thought...these were possibly the only thing I could put my finger on. Delicious meals, good selection of fruits and absence of fatty bacon for breakfast...I like! Clean premises, romantic light at night from beautiful lanterns! Short ride to the market place, about 100mad for taxi or horse carriage ride. No problem. Also , easy walking distance to other hotels with lucious restaurants in the european neighborhood. Would come back any time, great also for children!
