This is a slightly 'western' cafe in a hidden away location in the Fez Medina however everyone seems to know it so it wasn't too hard to find and is well signed. Great food and excellent welcoming staff offer a lovely relief from the hustle and bustle of the medina. Lovely terrace area upstairs and fantastic lassie's and milkshakes. Keep up the good work team Cafe Clock!

Downsides - hard to find, a bit expensive for Morocco, took a while to take our orders (only went once, though, so not much to go by).

Upsides - everything else! Menus available in English and French, I ordered the Jus de Banane and it was delicious. Waiters nice and can communicate with most of the tourists. BEAUTIFUL setting, definitely go on the terraces. They also have cooking classes and concerts.

This is a relaxing cafe with amazing views from the terraces. Wonderful, fresh, mint lemonade. If you're a woman visitor in Fez, this is your cafe. You will feel comfortable and be able to take in the surroundings without hassle.

A highlight of our trip to Morocco was the cooking class with Soaud. She walked us through the medina buying ingredients for the dishes we prepared and she showed us some shortcuts that normally take hours to make. Best of all, though, are the other things you'll learn about Morocco. She's a terrific teacher.

After two weeks in Morocco we were a little tired of chicken tagine that seemed to be the only thing you could get anywhere. Cafe Clock was a wonderful change. They have a totally different menu and was very yummy. It was also fun to see another side of a Moroccan city where the 20 somethings spend time. One of our favorite lunch stops on the whole trip.
