I think that it is fairly evident from the reviews that this is a fairly special place.I can only agree with everyone else that this is an excellent place to stay in Fes.When we stayed there we were the only guests there which made us feel as if we were weekend guests in a country house. We were made so welcome. The rooms are delightful. What more can I say?
If you intend to visit Fes then this is certainly the place to stay.
The Medina in Fes (where this Riad is situated) is extremely confusing and not for the faint hearted. We quickly realised that the Riad was well positioned to pick up anTaxi to the Souk area ( cost about 40p) so that walking to the same area was unnecessary. The walk would take about 25 minutes ( despite what everyone else tells you about a " five minute walk") through back streets which were totally uninteresting. So my advice is to take the taxi!
