“What a beautiful medersa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

Clearly, all the Fes medresas are beautiful and a piece of art each one of them. But this one is still the most beautiful, in my opinion. It is because of its decoration which is more sober than of the other ones, and it was completely empty when I visited, so its a great interior to take photos in. Their washroom is in the left corner of the medresa, and it can be used. There is a way to get upstairs for the views.

“A hidden gen”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2012

Cherratin gets passed up in favor of Bou Inania, but this one is better preserved and you can visit the whole thing (hint: some of the bathrooms actually work, although clearly the flush toilets are new!). It'll give you a terrific glimpse into what life was life for a seminary student in the middle ages, when Fes was one of the great centers for education in the world.
