This is a beautiful architectural experience and a nice part of your Fes medina visit. Make sure to slow down and soak it in.

“Worth seeing.”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We visited a number of medusas in Morocco, and this was one of the most impressive. The interior courtyard, with its intricately patterned tiling, stucco and cedar panelling, is lovely.

“chocked by cheating (?) officials”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We entered to visit and paid (10 dirham that is not even 1 euro) for the entrance fee for this state owned gem : the official guard in uniform accepted the money but did not give us a ticket : where does the money go ?? I was too chocked to do or say anything but future visitors : please insist on getting your ticket in order to fight corruption - thanks
and the place is indeed worth your visit, and the government needs the money, I was willing to pay more for it

“Beautiful medresa”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Such a nice place! One of the most beautiful medresas of Fes. Dont miss the part upstairs where the students actually lived. We had so much fun taking pictures here and at Attarine. Clearly this must be the highlight of the Islamic architecture worldwide.

“Centrally located”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

It was very prettty, but no signage made it difficult to learn about the building and school. People were praying while we were there so it felt a bit intrussive to be walking around.

It is centrally located, though, so easy to check off the list
