Said to be the oldest continuous Madrasa in the world. Beautiful mosaic and Koran inscriptions adorn the inside. Aside from the chatter from the other tour groups, you could effectively cut yourself off from all the surrounding noise of the medina – this is thanks to thick walls and gives the impression that the Madrasa could be located in the middle of nowhere.
