We were three girls and we had a very good time! The staff Ayad and Hicham are really helpful and nice! We strongly recommend it! The Riad is located in the center of La Medina and if you are not an expert you could get lost. Btw Ayad and Hicham will help you walking with you until a nice restaurant or providing you a guide, if needed. Positive feedback!

Easy to find Riad in the Medina off Place R'cif. The manager was so helpful with everything - and thanks for the tip about luggage storage - we did an overnight to the desert and didn't have to carry all our bags with us. The room was comfortable for myself and my daughter. The breakfast was delicious and the day we left early they made sure we had something to tide us over. They also arranged a guide for a walking tour - he wasn't the greatest but it was nice to be able to follow someone around the labrynth that is the Fes Medina.

You want to stay in a Riad in the Fes medina but not get lost all the time and still be close to the main road? Look no further!

The riad is right next to Place Racif. This is where Ayad came to pick us up and helped us getting our luggage from the car to the riad. After that he drove with me to a safe parking lot outside the medina after which we walked back to the riad where he showed us our room. The room was not particularly large, but good enough for our family of 4 and very nice because of its split level setup (parents on the upper level, kids downstairs). Doors and windows are opening to the central courtyard of the riad, which makes it slightly dark, but that is not unusual in riads in medinas.

Next we had our welcome mint tea. Time for Ayad to talk us through the Fes map and things to do. He helped us get a guide for the next morning and pointed us to a restaurant with roof terrace after that.

Breakfast the next morning was the usual good breakfast we have had in most places. Always with fresh orange juice, coffee and tea, bread, Moroccan pancakes, etc.

We stayed 2 nights at Riad Fes Aicha and would do it again any time. Thanks Ayad for your great support and service!

Just off Place R'cif, this riad is in a great location in the medina. Some local bus routes start at Place R'cif and taxi drivers know it well so it is easy to get to. At the bottom of a valley, getting to any sights in the medina will require some walking. The central courtyard of the riad is exquisitely decorated and the presentation of the meals (breakfasts and dinners) served there was excellent. The food was tasty and plentiful. There are roof terraces on several levels with good views of the medina. Staff were friendly and helpful and stored some bags for us during a short side trip that we made to Chefchaouen during our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean although several other guests were inconsiderately quite loud and noisy during our stay and our earplugs had to be used to get back to sleep.

The best thing about this place is it's traditional Moroccan look as well as the staff, in particular Ayad and Ishan. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and since we were the first guests arriving on that day we had the luxury to see more rooms and choose which one suits us best. We ended up staying in a 4 bed room, while we only booked for 3 beds with no extra charge. The staff explained us very well which areas and attractions to visit and they provided us with a photocopy of the map. Each morning traditional breakfast was served, even though it's very similar in choice each day it was great. It was easy to reach the main souq (shops) and other tourist attractions by walking. Once we were about to leave they arranged a taxi for us, as the city taxi does not go to the airport.
The place is located in a very small street in which car can not enter, so you will have to walk a bit to reach the Riad. However it's very easy to find if you follow Google Maps, additionally there are signs everywhere. The rooms were slightly dark for my taste, but I guess that is the case with majority of traditional Riads in Morocco.

Room tip: Take rooms on the upper floor, as lower ones can get loud in the morning, while guests are having breakfast in the atrium.
