We travel from Spain with the idea to visit the desert. A friend of my wife recommend us the place because Adil (the administrator) has an spectacular attention. Adil excelled the expectation, from day one, he showed us great attention and planned the staying in Morocco. He charge of everything, from the person to pick us in the airport until the different tours. The Dar is great, very clean and spacious. We really recommend the place, specially for people that is the first time in Morocco. Adil will care, not just in the Dar but outside in the Medina, he will give you recommendations and find you a person to guide you to explore the Medina that is recommended because it has 9,500 small streets. Everything was a great adventure!

Room Tip: Great view and excellent location in the Medina.

Full disclosure: I did not originally book with this riad but was placed here by another riad when they were undergoing plumbing construction.

The riad is very close to many merchants. Adil was fantastic in getting me settled and making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast on the terrace every morning with great views of Fez. Adil also helped set up a guide for the day in Fez and a guide out to the Sahara. I loved their Moroccan crepes for breakfast - they are delicious!

Dar El Ouedghiri is centrally located, close to the restaurant area and main tourist attractions. The only disadvantage of a room in Dar El Ouedghiri was a small room. The rest was great! Breakfast on a roof terrace, excursion to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes for 20 euro p.p., attitude, hospitality.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very friendly people - Adil was very welcoming and helpful. Very honest - I paid exactly the price I booked, no playing around with exchange rate.
Very good breakfast.
The room was spotless clean and beautifully decorated. And spacious. They really clean every day! Facilities worked well and bathroom was nice.
Rooftop terrace is lovely, perfect place to chill out. Would have loved to stay longer:)
It's one of the most interesting places I've stayed.

It is located nearly 5km from the fez train station, in the middle of old fez city. The google was accurate in taking me near the riad, as the roads are too narrow so you will have to walk. The riad was clean . The stairs are pretty small but manageable. I was given the biggest room even though I paid for a single room. They do not accept credit card so bring cash with them. Some of the road light from the market do not work so bring a good torch as well. The staff were very pleasant and kind, they always had a smile on their face.
