“not for women travelers”

fez might be interesting if you are into islamic culture, but it's ugly, dangerous, dirty and you feel haggled and in danger all the time. Everyone from the hotel to the guide will try and trick you any time they can. Nowhere to sit down and have a coke, since as a woman you can't sit in any bars, unless they are in the hotel. I hired an official guide, and he even did me in.
All I can say is avoid it at all cost,

A different and beautiful world inside the walls of the city. Each corner an each little door reveals a unique surprise. You can´t leave Moroco without visiting the medina of Fes.

“Astonishing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

My first day in Fez was my first day in Morocco and I was thrilled to feel like I was in some kind of exotic movie.

By my second day in Fez, I realized that I was actually living in history. It is astonishing to walk alleys from the 8th century and see people working in ways that have not changed much since the middle ages.

Fez is very special.

“Explore Marrocan's everyday life”

It was interesting experience to visit Medina. So many different kind of craft and also way of trading so different than we know in Europe. Good to see to be able better respect what we have at home.
