The owner of our Riad told us this was a great place. It's located very close to Bab Bou Jeloud, the blue gate, which you'll surely pass being in Fes. The place is very small, in a row of same style restaurants.
It has a menu written in english and french. It's very low budget. A full 3 course meal will set you back 70 dirham.
What we liked is the free cup of harira soup which was served to everybody staying there.
The other food, chickenbrochettes, spaghetti, couscous, steak and roasted chicken was just great.
It's a great spot watching people passing by, and the location is just super, very close to a tall tree in a corner.
Thumbs up for "Chez Rachid".
(one night we had dinner at his neighbour, "Chez Said", but this was not as good as Rachid!!
