The gate is old and very impresive, mostly at night when it is lightened beautifully. There is a good restaurant near by: Medina Cafe

Entrance great to Fez Medina with nice blue/purple notes on one side and green on a behind side. Many coffee shops and restaurants near by

We did not find much of interesting nor sufficience of this place. A few eateries / café nearby offering some decent food.
Worth stopping by to take a few pictures and/or have a lunch nearby.
A good meeting point as everyone knows this place.

The Most Beautiful Gate in Fes is what out tour guide called this but then he had a gate in every town.

Very nice and worth a look if you are in this area.

Everywhere you go around here is beautiful, the mosaics, the attention to detail everywhere. Lots of people in a small place.

Blue Gate is the most iconic place in Fes. You have to pass by it since it’s the entering to Medina and the actual start of the Fes experience. Entering the Blue Gate, you basically get the experience of Fes, the local stores, the negociation of the prices and the area of Medina.

Just a gate, but beautiful one. If you are a history freak, you'll get more out of this. Médina inside is beautiful

Very pretty gate. There are some juice stalls and small restaurants right there. Sit down for a while and watch the world go by. Love it

This is another fine example of Islamic work, not unlike many others found around Fes and the rest of Morocco. While you can't miss it and you must stop to look at it (and take a picture), it is full of tourists and you won't spend more than 10 minutes of your time there.
The good thing, chance are you can't miss it as it is a focal point in any visit to Fes.
