“Beautiful Fez”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

We are very glad having stayed in this Riad! Is grateful to have a good situation to start the walkings in Fez´s Medina.
Meals are awesome, better when you have it in the "patio" besides your room.
It´s for sure a place to recomend and also to come back

This riad is amazing! Well-located and easy to find near the Bab Boujeloud. Near both the Taala Kbira and Taala Sghira, and an easy walk to Qairaouine Mosque and the tanneries. This beautiful riad is quiet, with beautiful zellij work and wooden ceilings. There is a lovely central dining area and they provide a very filling variety breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (although the leopard print blanket was a little campy), and they come with en suite a/c and a television. The owners, the "sun" and the "moon" as they call themselves, are extremely generous and pleasant to speak to, and are very knowledgeable about Fes. I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: If you have trouble climbing stairs, opt for a room on the lower floor. The stairs are uneven and st...

... a must if you want to visit Fez! Clean, helpful with any questions you could have, easy to find, in "downtown medina"! Accomodation speaks for itself ... if you want to discover Marokko, this is the way to sleep! Good breakfast included! Thanks to all the staff, to make our 2 days such an enjoyable visit! Wasn´t the last!!!

If you want a unique experience inside the walls of the old city, this is your place. We had traditional meal, our rooms were large and clean; the staff were friendly. We drove from Casablanca and parked just outside the main blue gate. We would've never found it if the manager didn't come out to the parking lot to guide us. They arranged a tour guide for us as well. It was a pleasant and unique experience. (FYI there's no alcohol but the manager was kind enough to have a bottle of wine delivered for our meal.)

Room Tip: We had two rooms. Both were very nice and large. The one on the ground floor opens to the patio an...

The riad is beautiful, well located and the rooms are nice and clean. The staff, however, is awful! When we arrived, they didn't have the room we booked. Me and my friends had to rearrange ourselves in three different rooms and I had to bargain the price with the manager. Also the manager made some disrespectful jokes about me sleeping alone. There was no one to serve me breakfast at the fisrt day, They were unable to give us good restaurants or hammas recommendations. If I ever come back to Fez I will try to find another place to stay.
