We could not have been happier with our stay there! From Ali, the taxi driver, who picked us up at the airport to Otman who really went out of his way to be kind, helpful, good fun, friendly and cooperative. We were welcomed with a traditional mint tea and pastries. In fact, we enjoyed Otman's company so much that on the day of our flight back to the UK, after touring the Middle Atlas region, we dropped by once again to say our goodbyes to him. Such a nice man!
The riad is decorated in the traditional way with a fountain in the middle and a small pool to cool yourself during the heat of the day. We were only a stone's throw away from one of the main thoroughfares into the medina and yet it is an oasis of calm. It is spotlessly clean.
Breakfasts are copious and varied, the location is just on the edge of the medina with a roof top terrace which gives fantasic views of the old city, especially at night.
It is the staff that make this place so special. If we ever come back to Morocco we know where our home will be.
