This was our 3rd trip to Fes and our 8th to Morocco but we never took the time to eat at Le Chameau Bleu which is a known address in town. So this time we went. Nice interior and a very good welcome. One of the things that we saw pretty quickly was the price range, higher than any other restaurant in the area. But that was not a problem, we've tried other more upscale places in the old and new town and with good results. The thing is that you expect a certain upscale quality of dishes for more upscale prices and this was not the case here. From a flavor point of view we know other places nearby which serve better food and at -50%. Another issue was the BBQ inside... I understand you need to be able to grill food but I would think it is not the objective to have guests eat under a veil of smoke... Again, the service was good, the food not bad, but way too overpriced.
