“Amazing food; better service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2013

We were looking for a nice place to have some local food, and were extremely happy with Restaurant Marrakech. This appears to be a family owned establishment, and the food is absolutely amazing. I have the Royal Couscous, which came with various meats and vegetables, and my sister had the fish tanginere, which she also enjoyed. Add to that the extremely warm atmosphere, the nice and fast service, and there is really nothing to complain about. One small warning is that in the dark and without a map, the place may be hard to find -- so grab a map and have the hotel you are staying at mark the spot for you. I will definitely be back to this place and highly recommend it.

“Good choice.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

Not disappointed at all.
There is a good choice of local Moroccan dishes (vegetarian included) and service was quick.
The place is clean, well lit, friendly staff.
We went back with the entire group of travellers and enjoyed another good dinner.

“A must for travelers to Fes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

This was a great find in a city that doesn't really have many restaurants for western people (females in particular).
We were staying at the Barcela Hotel and walked around aimlessly looking for somewhere nice to eat. We found the marrakech restaurant.
The staff speak good English and were keen to point out the specialties including the couscous royal and the chicken pastilla.
We ordered both.
The pastilla was amazing. The cous cous was equally as good and had grilled chicken, sausage, vegetables and lamb that fell off the bone. Yum yum.
This place is great for traditional Moroccan food and is in a great setting. Restaurant quality like back home in Australia.

“Tasty in Fes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel ,Barcelo Fes Medina and discovered this restaurant within walking distance. We ordered Tagines one fish and the other lamb.Since this was my first experience with this dish ,I felt it was good not exceptional to my palate.A fellow traveler was in the restaurant and said the seafood pastille was exceptional.I'm sure I will have the opportunity to sample more Morrocon delights before we return to the U.S.

“Safe bet all round”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

On arriving the restaurant was empty apart from an American tour group with their guide- this confirmed restaurant Marrakech is a Safe bet. The food is not cheap and we were rushed through our courses (waiter must have been bored). Starters were nice and mains OK. It was a hurried, dull experience, not worth the mandatory 10% tip.
