“Very cool, decommissioned Cathedral”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

Okay, so I know decommissioned isn't the right word, but it conveys what I mean, the place is no longer used as a church. I found it doing a colonial architecture walk from the lonely planet guide book, which is very much worth it. The architecture of the church is amazing, very modern. Now it's used as a sort of community center, when I visited there was an art exhibit there.

“artifact of colonial past”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

The church is gorgeous from the inside and out. but don't go expecting a church. this is now a community center and tourist destination which affords visitors a stunning view of Casa from the spires. there are always a lot of kids playing soccer right in front. don't mess up their game by walking straight through, or you might be chased (i saw this happen to a rude tourist once). The church is still a sight to be seen and really deserves a visit.

“Not a very popular church I guess”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

This cathedral looked better when I viewed it from a distance at Place Mohammed V. But at short distance, the outside looked not very well maintained. Dirty walls and broken windows. It didn't look to be a rich church ... and I guess perhaps it's not really popular with the locals ...

“Climb to the Roof”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

The inside of the church is empty and a little eery, but if you pay the small admission fee you get to climb up a bunch of old, dilapidated stairs that take you to the roof where you are rewarded with AWESOME sites of Casablanca. Definitely recommend it.

“Representing Morocco's multiculturalism and acceptance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Moroccans are famous for their acceptance of other races cultures and religions. A great example is this church. What makes it worth a visit are its stained glass windows reported to weigh 20 tonnes.
