Two couples traveling together, staying at the Royal Mansour Meridien hotel. Our first day in Morocco, so we decided we just wanted to dine at the hotel. We're glad we did. It was early on a weeknight (they open at 7:30 PM), and we were the only ones in the restaurant for about a half hour. This means we that we had the complete attention of the entire staff. Aziz (the maitre' d) is extremely personable and a delight to be with. He made the entire evening a much more special event with his wit and humor. When other diners came in, he interacted with them in the same manner. Typical lavish Moroccan setting and menu. The couscous and tangine dishes here were the best that we had in our entire Moroccan visit.
