First, if you take a cab, make sure you are clear about your destination. Our cab driver took us to the wrong museum at first (the Jewish museum) and had to stop and ask directions to this one. But it was well worth the frustration in getting there. The objects on display were all in marvelous condition and you could get close enough to see them and take good pictures. There was a perfect variety of glass work, jewels, paintings, sculpture, and old travel posters. The lighting could use a little work... sometimes there was just too much glare, There was no guided tour, and you'd enjoy your visit more if you could read French... the signs were mostly in French and Arabic. I wish I could have learned more about the objects I was seeing, but I enjoyed them even without information. Upstairs there's a lovely balcony and a lounge with sofas and interesting art books to leaf through.
