Smooth and nicely organized. Good food, accomodation, and transportation. Well done, quite reliable.
My friends and I (3 girls) did a 10 day trip starting from Marrakech. Our guide Ismail was very fun and engaging and showed us all the important tourist attractions. He has an amazing playlist and make the road trips very enjoyable.Highly recommend them for your next trip to Morocco and request for Ismail!! He’s a young and fun 25 year old guy and will take your trip up a notch!!!
Had a memorable 10 days spent in Morocco organized by Berber way!
Our trip (3 of us) was confirmed after sending a deposit; Our itinerary was customised to the locations we wanted to visit (for which we requested in the email).
Ismail, our driver, despite some language barriers, took great care of us, taking the time to help us fully immerse ourselves in the moroccan culture (we witnessed a moroccan wedding even though it was not part of the itinerary), and tried to explain sites as we drove past them, even stopping whenever we saw something interesting. My birthday fell on one of the days, and he even took the time to get me a cake! (Thanks Ismail!!!)
The car rides were always filled with laughter and jamming to music, which made it even more fun and memorable - felt more like a road trip with friends instead of with just a driver who's bringing us around.
We managed to cover most of Morocco's diverse sights - from the ancient city of Fes, to the camel rides in the desert (with wonderful star gazing), to the busy square and shops of Marrakech, and of course to the beautiful Ifrane and Chefchaoeun. We also stayed at jaw-droppingly amazing Riads throughout the trip, which left us feeling like queens.
A tip would be to clarify if meals are included for the Riads, as they can be much more expensive as compared to just eating outside! Some of them also do not accept cards, only cash, so please ask beforehand!
I would highly recommend booking with Berber Way for detailed, inside experience of Morocco and its culture, for fully customisable private tours at a fairly reasonable price!
Lahcen was a great tour guide and made us feel very welcome. Gave us interesting facts about different cities and villages with an injection of humor.
Would have given 5 stars if not for the communication issues with the tour agency; information in the email is slightly misleading, e.g., free gifts (sandboarding, desert pizza, desert shawl) were not given, and we had to pay entrance fees for some attractions, e.g., Volubilis...
I spent a memorable and fun eight days with Berber Way in Morocco. The itinerary was intricately planned by the company, taking us from the magnificent sand dunes of the Sahara, to the lush green Cèdre forest near Fes. Despite the multiple destinations we visited, the transfers, hotel arrangements and rendezvous with local guides were mostly smooth. Also, our driver Lehcen is really knowledgeable and fluent in English. His interesting anecdotes gave us many insights about Moroccan culture and his humour made the long rides from one city to another fun. Most importantly, he is kind and took really good care of my tour group. With him turning the itinerary into reality by chaperoning us around, Morocco becomes less foreign and more accessible!
Spent 8 days 7 nights in Morocco with Lachen as the tour guide. We went to many places including Marrakech, Merzouga, Fez, Chefchaouen and Meknes.
Going on the bus tour meant we got to see many places in Morocco within a week without worrying about navigation or driving. Morocco has quite a varied climate across the Atlas Mountains from hot deserts to the greener Ifrane, which we got to see on the bus tour.
The tour guide Lachen was really helpful on the trip. Besides being our driver, he also shared about the local culture with us and helped us with accommodation arrangements. It helps to have someone with local street smarts around. For instance when stopping by shops for water, he would tell us what a good price for it is and take us to another place if it was too expensive. He would also tell us what to look out for in terms of potential swindlers. He's a great guy with a good sense of humor so chatting with him on the bus was fun.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Morocco for the first time as it takes the worry out of travel logistics and gives a diverse view of Morocco. Depending on where you want to go the travel time between cities can be quite long so take that into account when planning your trip.
8D7N Trip included Marrakesh, Dades Gorges, the Merzouga desert, Fes, Chefchaouen and Meknes. It was very well planned and our driver/guide Lahcen was very helpful and friendly. The local guides like Sayid (our guide for Fes) were also very friendly and helped us to learn a lot of about the rich history and culture of Morocco. Having a dedicated driver was also good as we can stop by certain pit stops for water or snacks, and find the most picturesque locations within the mountains that would not have been possible (if we just explored the cities individually). The camel expedition was also really fun and a unique experience for all of us. Overall it was a really fun trip for 8 days. Highly recommend booking through them for trips around Morocco.
