A place must go in Casablanca. Just few mintues walk from Ibis Casa port or Casa port train station. Seafood is not expensive there, around $20 usd for a dozon Oyster. The shop opens at 7pm but Morocco people have dinner late. so the restaurant is full around 9 or 10pm. Unless you plan to have early dinner, otherwise i suggest you make the reservation first.

I eat lunch here at least once every time I visit Casa.. It is upscale, and the waiters are very courteous. The fried crevettes (shrimp) are very good but my favorite is the Paella. Get there early otherwise you will wait to get in if you get there after 9 pm.

This restaurant is located 200 Meter away from the fish market and seaside of Casablanca. You can see the fish trawlers which are next to this restaurant. So this is a gurantee for fresh fish. You can eat spicy black Paella! We have tried Crevettes in oil pil-pil=77 Dirham, mussels=65 Dirhams, black Paella and 12 oysters=180 Dirham. All meals are prepared very well. The athmosphere is cosy. The prices are on a low level. Only the service could be more friendly and attentive.

No bling bling fuss here. Real seafood restaurant for seafood lovers. They come to your table and show you the products before cooking them-I like that! I came with a colleague while on business trip, and we were afraid to come late. It was 9:00pm and the restaurant was only 30% filled. Actually people did come, but later. The restaurant was almost full when we left, at around 11:00pm.
The restaurant is the oldest fish restaurant in town-I guess it dates back when it was the only one, hence its name. Service is old fashioned, nothing like the new wave of stylish lounge-style restaurant that flourish nowadays in Casablance. But as far as seafood cooking is concerned, I always trust the old ways!
