“Absolute heaven!”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

My husband and I recently spent 10 nights here as part of our honeymoon, following four nights in Marrakesh. For us it was absolutely perfect.

ROOMS: We were in a junior suite which was absolutely beautiful! Bathroom with huge shower, bath and twin sinks, separate toilet, dressing room and a bedroom with comfy seating area and the biggest bed we've ever seen in our lives! The room was cleaned every day, towels refreshed and the bed made etc. A lovely balcony with a soft sofa type seat and a table and chairs, overlooking the golf course. The room had air con which was definitely needed!

FOOD: We booked on a room only basis, having thought we might be able to find some local restaurants to eat in once we worked out that to pre book breakfast would cost around £30 a day. We soon found that the hotel was too far away from the local area of Inezgane to be able to do this, however on checking in we found that to have breakfast would cost us the equivalent of £20 a day with the exchange rate at the time. And they were worth it! We had about 5 breakfasts and the food was always fresh and well topped up, various eggs were on offer freshly cooked to order, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries - everything we could want! On one day we were quite late getting up and once we'd finished one of the waiters told me he would bring me another pot of tea to the pool as I had only had time for one cup! (His name was Hasan and he was fab throughout!).

We ate in the restaurant in the evening a few times too and always loved it. Although there wasn't a huge amount of choice, what there was was delicious. On average two courses for two people and a bottle of house red came up at about £45. Drinks at the bar were ok priced (especially considering it's a captive market really!), about £3.50 for a beer or glass of wine, and they always brought them out to you at the pool with a little tray of nuts and crisps.

THE POOL: Was just amazing! The wonderful pool man found us a couple of sun loungers each day, brought us towels and a parasol and made sure we were comfortable. The pool isn't too deep, and goes down in steps so was fine for the children that arrived towards the end of our stay. We didn't use the indoor pool because the outdoor one was so peaceful and in such beautiful surroundings.

GETTING TO AND FROM AGADIR: We made good use of the shuttle bus run by the hotel to it's sister hotel in Agadir, although the service wasn't always as reliable as it could have been! We found it was best going in in the morning and arranging with the driver when we would be returning. If we couldn't get the bus a taxi cost us 100 dihram, which was about £7 - lots of people on here have said it was 250 dihram which I find odd, unless it has something to do with exchange rates!

The staff were super, the hotel was beautiful and well looked after and there were lots of lovely touches - such as the man who arranged our towels into swans in the evening - which made the stay wonderful. We would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is lovely large rooms and the service excellent. Each day on return we had a surprise of petals laid out as flowers one day the bed covered in petals and Roses in hearts and our names in petals.
The golf course was great and the use of caddies fine although you needed to be strict about how they caddied for you.
The only small complaint was that the restaurant did not have enough choice but we travelled to the city cost of 200 dirhams and ate at the restaurants reviewed by trip advisor .
We loved the peace and quiet. The setting was lovely as was the pool area if you like an adult hotel with golf this is the place for you

Room Tip: All rooms are suites and we were on the ground floor overlooking golf course We would avoid a room...

Myself, husband and 7 year old son, just spent a week here. If you want a relaxing, winter sun break, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Both my husband and son are keen golfers. ( Course is wonderful). I wanted to relax, read and have spa treatments. There are golf buggies available for hotel residents to use right outside reception. Spa is first class, they do packages for treatments. Staff cannot do enough to please you - no need to move off sun lounger as drinks, lunch are brought directly to you poolside. Hotel hired a guide/taxi to take us to all the sights, cost: £30.00. Rooms are first class as is service. If you feel the need to 'get away from it all' this is the place to go. Oh and the food is excellent; my husband is gluten free and they bought special bread etc. Especially for him. We were half board but my son likes salmon and rice....no problem.

Room Tip: We had a poolside room which was fabulous...two steeps to the sun lounger!

Wasn't sure what to expect ...however our family of four including an 18 year old and a 21 year old ...had the most relaxing week here over New Year. We arrived exhausted after a hectic Christmas and being here was balm to our souls. The rooms are very spacious and immaculately clean with a seperate dressing room, good sized bathrooms with walk in shower and bathtub, and double sinks, and very large balcony. The staff are what made this hotel ..they are unfailingly polite and friendly...if you speak french so much the better...we got by with french and english...breakfasts were more than adequate and several days we had lunch by the pool....dinner was somewhat limited...choice of two items per course...however no one in our party had any issues with upset stomachs which is a huge bonus in Morocco..the hotel use bottled water for their ice etc..the property is very beautiful ...and very near to the Kings Palace..around a 15 min drive from downtown Agadir. The hotel recommended a taxi driver to us Hicham..whose English was very good and who was used the whole time for trips..he was very reasonable price wise..even took us to Marrakech for the day..if you want a party hotel ..this is not it...but we felt we had fully recharged our batteries on leaving...one downside the wifi is not great ..only works in bar area. Spa is lovely

Room Tip: The rooms with pool view were great ..or you can have view over the golf course...

Stayed here for 5 nights as a short honeymoon. I wasn't sure what to expect staying at a golf hotel, but it was very quiet and the grounds are very pleasant. Dispite other reviews stating its in 'the middle of nowhere?' A bus from the hotel can take you to a sister hotel at tikida beach. a timetable is in reception. otherwise a short taxi ride into Adagir for around 200 dirhams. (always get a price from the driver before you set off as they will increase the price at the destination to try and get more money from customers) The hotel were very helpful at booking taxis and reccomending restaurants. my wife and I ate most nights at the hotel and were never dissapointed. The menu might be limited but the quality of the food and top service from the staff more than makes up for this!
The staff at this hotel were some of the nicest people we have met, they speak very good english! and they always make sure you have everything you need. We had a pleasant supprise when we returned to our room, in the form of champagne, fruit and petals, as a honeymoon present to us from the hotel. For those people who want peace and quiet and time to relax, then this is the right place for that. The spa in the hotel is amazing, and was just the icing on the cake to a perfect stay at this stunning Hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and overall lovely but not for families, there is nothing for them to do. Rooms beautiful and so spacious. Hotel lovely but small and very quiet, not much atmosphere. Ok if you just want to play golf and read. Staff were excellent. Restaurant did great job at catering for vegetarians, whatever we wanted they prepared for us.

Overall this hotel is fairly good value for money but is missing general basics eg;the food is nice there butbnot brill and staff don't speak very good English for a 5* hotel, they also could have done not just using google translator to translate the menu as most thing made no sense and some they hadn't bothered at all to translate, my last final point about this is that I have read some reviews about poor bed turning Dow service but our beds went turned down at all. Checking in was very relaxed as we were brought a nice refreshing glass of orange juice, as we had been in the car all day, checking out was the complete opposite as the woman checking us out had broken the card machine, or at least that's what she thought, the paper roll was just in the wrong way. Finally the pool was a bit nippy according to the manager it was not possible to heat the pool as it would mess up the air con in rooms although all it would take is getting a electrician around to re wire
