Our first trip to Agadir was in 1984. There weren't many hotels then, now its really changed a lot, the magnificent harbor they have built is really nice to wander around, then go on into the old fish market, you can eat a meal there really cheap and eat fish freshly caught, in fact some are still moving when you chose them. The hotel ! hmmm we have stayed in better, the whole hotel is built like in a hole so there are many stairs up and down when you walk around, the food was eatable, but nearly the same everyday, we shall never return here to this hotel. We went to eat in the main town 3 nights of our stay, but due to the all-in formula's in all the hotels it was very quite everywhere, the locals say its sad how the town of Agadir is slowly dying due to the large hotels they have built on the seafront and new promenade. If you like that sort of thing then this is the place to be in the winter, temperature between 21 and 28 degrees is just great. Personally, i think Agadir has had its best time, its been taken over by all the rich Moroccan people who have property there but are working or living in Europe, sad, especially for the local people. So, to finish up, Agadir is alright for a break in the winter, nice promenade and harbor. But as for hotel, you need to be going to minimum 5 star or i think you will be disappointed.

This resort has far too many steps I am severely sight impaired but very independent I felt this place robbed me of that independence. There was a disabled route around the complex but it didn't cover all areas. The lobby bar was the most unwelcoming place I have been to!! and the use of silly plastic glasses and cups everywhere was ridiculous. Our room wasn't cleaned when we got there (we had booked a family room) but even so the bunk beds were so rickity I wouldn't have let my dog sleep on them let alone children also the balcony rail was very loose so we asked for another room. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and welcoming and Agadir is very beautiful so worth a visit but NOT at this hotel. Also we booked with First Choice and the rep was like the scarlet pimpernel so no help from him or her only saw a rep on the coach going to the resort and one on the way back. No welcome meeting nothing so pretty poor service from that company

Room Tip: if you have problems with mobility however slight DO NOT go here there are hundreds of steps and no...

Visited for a week over Christmas and had a fantastic time, with a great nativity on Christmas Eve followed by an 8 course meal with lots of wine. The First Choice rep Hetiam was fantastic and readily available to help and answer questions. The accommodation could be improved as it is a little tired but it was very clean. The complex is large with plenty of places to eat and the food was good. The entertainment team Animation were great and we was especially impressed with Ilyas who was friendly and funny, he always made time to say hello. People for the nearby 5* resort were spending time at Caribbean Village as they were bored of their own resort!! It is in a great location and we would definitely stay again.

It has been some time since i last visited the village, not a lot has changed
This represents a great value for money hotel in a great area.
The important thing or any visitor to remember how much they paid

The food, not the most exciting food but always tasty and plenty of it and with the addition of the themed rooms it means you don't go hungry, the new year meal was again excellent and with a few more staff serving it would have been perfect.

The rooms are basic but you wont be spending much time in them, they are keep clean to a high standard, the beds are firm but this is my preference and i like them.

The entertainment , limited however the new year show (Lord of the Dance) was well executed and entertaining day time activities are in abundance and the animation team do try to meet the demands of a very varied clientele from all over the world and age ranges.
The WiFi has very limited capacity but is available in most of the complex however patience is needed as the limited capacity makes it very slow.

The Bars, limited range of drinks on the all inclusive and as usual 33% spirits but the staff are always willing and happy to serve they just need to do it a little faster so a few more staff would speed up the process however good for drinks most of the time.

Pools and other facilities all kept in good clean order and plenty of sunbeds around however the early bird gets the ones in the sun all day but a few Dirham to the pool guy means you get a lie in.
Check in and Management of the hotel, check in was fast and efficient and the reception staff are very helpful if you do have any issues with your room or any of the facilities, the management of the hotel need to look at how they bring a more up to date appearance to the hotel in the near future. More investment is needed in the WiFi and other entertainment facilities, Remember we are not all French.

Overall i enjoyed the rerun trip but i knew what to expect and if you know what to expect in a Moroccan 3 star hotel then you will be happy with this hotel
The staff do try to do the best for you and tipping is an excellent way of saying thank you to them given the low wages they get.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room away from poolside and above the night club if you need to sleep early . th...

Value for money. The down side is the food and the hygiene of the main restaurant. The food tasted horrible and cold. I didn't like how the bread was kept on broken tiles and crumbs all over the chopping board where u help yourself. On the plus side great for kids my son loved it.
Staff are friendly and entertainment was ok could be better.

I would most definitely go back because the price is amazing. But the food could be better.
