I just came back from a week of nightmares! First of all, this is not a 4* hotel! It barely meets the first requirement of a 1* hotel!!
I went with a group of boys, and we all hated it! Lack of water in the shower! Cold water! Sometimes the water even goes out! The bathroom itself is very dingy! The staff working behind the desk are rather rude, unfriendly! The security guards were extremely rude along with the entertainment staff. (Cleaning staff and handymans were cool)
The hotel is very outdated! They barely speak English! Mainly equipped for the French. LOTS OF STAIRS! Not good if u come back drunk from a night out or your old/fragile and have difficulties walking!
The beach is long walk away! There's also no nearby shops like other hotels!
The drinks at the hotel is a skank, even for a bottle of water!
Entertainment at this hotel is a joke especially the DJ and the dancing guy who thinks he's MICHAEL JACKSON. They repeat themselves every evening and finish early!
Lots of COCKROACHES! I had to kill at least 11 in my room!
There's too many gaps and holes in the doors, insects have easy access.
Wi-fi is a joke! The hotel is a joke!

only stay in this hotel if you are on a tight budget and willing to rough it a bit. The over all impression of this hotel is that it needs investment. I don't think hardly anything about it has been updated since it was built. it is really a case of papering over the cracks and a 'make do and mend' attitude to running a hotel. the place is a bit of a mixed bag. The staff were great especially the restaurant staff, they were great and couldn't do enough for you. The food isn't bad, it does cater for French tastes and I would've liked more Moroccan dishes. The rooms were cleaned fairly well, we were there for 10 nights however and I don't think they changed our bed sheets more than twice. The exterior of the hotel is quite nice and the gardens are really well maintained.

some of the drawbacks would be that it is not right on the beach and is slightly away from the main part of Agadir but it's only a short walk to the bars (not really worth the walk in my opinion). they do have a roped of section of beach, this is about a 10min walk from the hotel. the pool isn't great, didn't seem especially clean and there were a few cracked and lose tiles around it and mosts of the time the pool attendant was watching his ipad rather than helping guests. we went all inclusive but tbh i wuldn't bother as the drinks weren't very good. the cokes were nearly always flat and the glasses smelt of gone off milk at times. the 'cocktails' tasted like a mixture of Sunny Delight and white label vodka.
one final thing, don't buy the bottled water from the hotel, it's 20 Dirhams but there's is a little shop left out of the front of the hotel that will sell u a bottle for more like 6.

We booked this through sunshine.co.uk and paid £18 per night for a double room on a ROOM ONLY basis. Thank goodness we didn't opt for all inclusive as that from what I saw was as poor as it could get. We paid for breakfast on 3 mornings (£3 each) . It was a bit on the sparse side, but it filled a gap when we were hungry.
There are plenty of eating out options in Agadir, with 3 course "menu de jour" from as little as 55 dirham (£5) so why lock yourself in the hotel on an AI basis. Drinks were the same price as outside in the local bars though to be fair.
Our room was fine, on the bottom tier, overlooking their lovely gardens.
The pool was clean, but cold.plenty sunbeds. Pool towels provided. You could play darts or ping pong too and there was always music going on.
We went out most evenings, returning around 10,30 in time for the last hor or so of Hachim and Abdel keeping the guests happy with their slick dance moves and getting the ladies up to the Lambada etc. Although we appeared to be the only British there, they certainly involved us as much as we wanted, and we quite enjoyed ourselves, my wife learning the French version of the "Slosh" ha ha.
The hotel has its own beach section, but there was no other facilities. We prefered to walk 20 minutes along the prom to LE VENEDOME (near mcdonalds) which for 20 dirham you had great beach facilities, waiter service, use of toilets etc.
Wifi should have been available in the lobby. For most of our 2 weeks it was broken.
Overall Les Omayedes was ok. Nothing stuck out as great. All pretty average really. I Would probably rate it at the bottom end of 3star.

First and Foremost, this Hotel is NOT 4 Star by anyone's standards,
It does not even provide what it advertises.
There is no Japanese Restaurant onsite and there has not been for some time. There was no A La Carte Restaurant onsite, There was no snack bar, no indoor pool, no mini golf, no hot tub or whirlpool. The outdoor pool was dirty and uninviting.
The hotel does not advertise that it is just one massive staircase (8 flights from top to bottom) with rooms off to either side. Not suitable for anyone that has any walking troubles.
The hotel does advertise that the rooms are sound proof, but trust me they are not at all.
The food for all inclusive and half board was disgusting. Over the two weeks we were there the breakfast consisted of bread, cereal, crepes, M,smmens (flaky pancakes), sliced tomato, orange slices and olives as the core menu with tasteless dried cheese slices, tasteless cream cheese and some sort of spam as treats on some days, as well as some sort of egg dish made from liquid egg. I asked for a boiled egg one day and was told I could have one if I paid for it. Lunch was usually left overs from the night before, salad if available, was tired and unimaginative. Dinner - Lasagne that was just like some sort of slop, fish which was dry and overcooked, chicken necks in vermicelli pasta, soup that was tasteless and watery, pasta that was dried out, rice that was overcooked, vegetables that had turned to mush. Please do not get me wrong here, I do not want English food, I want good quality Moroccan food which I have had on my many visits to Morocco. Morocco produces some wonderful fresh produce so why can this hotel not provide fresh appetising foods?
The two men on reception were unhelpful and rude to say the least, although the Lady receptionist was very helpful. The were two entertainers, although both nice boys, the evening entertainment consisted of them dancing the same dances every night and then them pandering to the French by playing French music every night and dancing with the French tourists. There were two occasions where Berber dancers came in to "entertain" us but that too was poor and they expected us to give them money for it!
Les Omayades really takes the micky when it comes to All Inclusive drinks, they offer wine or poor quality beer or a cocktail that has been sat there all day and you don't have any idea what is in it. All inclusive tea and coffee is not fresh but sits in flasks all day and I found the milk to be "off" on a couple of occasions, as well as the fact that the tea and coffee were never hot.
Afternoon tea is laid out on a table in the bar and is all left overs from breakfast.

This hotel in the worst ALL INCLUSIVE I have ever stayed in and really needs to get its act together as it does NOT provide good value for ALL INCLUSIVE or HALF BOARD and there are far better All Inclusive hotels to say at.

Room Tip: There is not one good room in this hotel for anyone with walking difficulties, if you are on the gro...

traditional Maroccan hotel, rooms weren't 4* but the hotel overall was close to that.Very friendly staff, beautiful restaurant- with HB package we had a buffet for breakfast and dinner, good choice of dishes every day, hotel in need of some restoration but for people who value the atmosphere above that it's an excellent choice! would def recommend.
we haven't been notified by on the beach about a hotel tax fee- about 20 pounds per 2 ppl for a week's stay.
