The food and the service here was excellent. Our waiter Said was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The food was elegantly presented and delicious!

Great food and service! We already went twice and are planning to go back today.

This restaurant was previously called Little Norway and the neon sign above the restaurant still has that name. The ownership changed few months ago and while they are trying to re-brand the restaurant, they kept the old name, since the reviews for Little Norway are very favorable. I think changing the name is a good idea, since the Little Norway sign seems out of place in the middle of Agadir.

While I have not visited it under the old management, I can attest that the new owners are doing a great job. Both times we went, the food was amazing and our waiter Mustafa very friendly and attentive.

We tried many dishes between the four of us and everything was good. Some of the highlights were fish with mango, steak (preferred with Roquefort sauce), grilled calamari, profiteroles. As a vegetarian, I would recommend to get the grilled vegetables appetizer and pasta with pesto. The kitchen was very accommodating and offered some options for my father, who has many dietary restrictions.

Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised by the check, which was half of what we paid for dinners in Agadir.

If you go out for 1 good meal in Agadir - make it here. Excellent quality , fine selected ingredients , interestingly put together. This restaurant could compete with any high class restaurant anywhere - being in Morocco it would always win out on value. The owner knows about food & service. He also has a restaurant in France & travels between both places bringing a Quality wine selection and a contemporary menu . From starter to dessert everything we ate was perfectly cooked & presented. With multiple skills & parts to each dish . I'm only sad we havn't found this place before . It was the highlight of the trip. It's slightly out of the main strip , which is often good . 4 mins in a taxi , 15 mins by foot , from the marina area . Still very close to the seafront if your walking along the promenade. Don't miss this place . We had a
waiter called Siad ( pro' sigh
eid) who was a very skilful waiter , knowing how to appear & disappear when the time was right . A very relaxing person to serve you. A skill that is un teachable . The owner was happy , social & genuine . I can't wait to return - don't miss this place. You'll end up going again.

Towards the southern end of Agadir’s promenade, away from the commercialised Marina properties, turn inland for some 300 metres, just before the ‘Hotel Dunes d’Or’. There you will find ‘Le Tapis Rouge Restaurant’ opposite the ‘Casino le Mirage’.
Here we received a very warm welcome that was not overpowering, but accompanied by first class helpful service, which complemented the exceptionally high standard of French Cuisine and presentation provided. You may choose to eat on the terrace or in the very attractive restaurant.
Whichever meal you choose, my wife and I feel sure you will want to return, we did for each of our last three days and regretted not finding Le Tapis Rouge sooner. Excluding wine and tips our bills averaged £20 per person.
