The first time we've ever stayed at an all inclusive hotel, and we enjoyed the stress free nature of the Decameron Tafoukt, where all food and drink is included in the very reasonable overall cost of the room.

Although we did find it puzzling that food and drink were to be consumed in the bars and restaurants only and not in our room. Also, being British, we missed having tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Coffee was in plentiful supply at the poolside bar, though, along with all the free cocktails you could drink.

That said, the hotel is right on the seafront, so you can step straight from your evening meal onto the promenade for an evening stroll to the marina area, where there are plenty of coffee shops and cafes, joining the locals.

The food was very good, and we ate every meal in the buffet restaurant where the meals were themed each evening. There was always a wide choice of food - vegetables, fish, meat - to suit all diets. Special mention must go to the pastry chef/s, who produced a delectable array of desserts and cakes each evening.

Our room turned out to be a suite, with an enclosed balcony from which we enjoyed a private afternoon sun trap, watching the locals and their families taking some exercise along the promenade. There was always something interesting to be seen.

So we had a great holiday, enjoying a week of sunshine in the early spring, with temperatures of 24 deg + - not bad, considering we were scraping the ice off our windscreen back home on the morning of our departure.

we spent one week holiday at the end of February. The weather is still a bit too cold but very sunny. The hotel is very comfortable and one of the most positive point is the cleanliness and the very good food with a great control of hygiene in the dining room. The building is nice and in front of the beach with big terrace on the promenade.where you can have your lunch/dinner. We had a promo room in a side wing (very large room but with a small bathroom which needs a refreshing) The rooms with sea or pool view have new bathrooms. Nice big swimming pool, good and friendly service, perfect all in formula. The animation was French but sometimes really too noisy. People do not need to be entertained all the time and need sometimes quietness ! But anyway it was a very good choice, value for money. We will go back and were very satisfied.

Room tip: The promo rooms are large with old bathroom. The rooms with sea or pool view (higher category) are of course much nicer.

Staying here now. Lovely hotel, nice food ,pleasant staff. This hotel caters mainly for French clientel with animation team geared up for this.
Very little effort is made to involve other foreign nationals.Joined in a few games when requested but still info given in French.
The impression given is that the hotels main client base is the older French couples, alot of which would seem to enjoy their holiday fully clothed when sunbathing and did not appreciate a splash of water on them when my 2 year old granddaughter pushed her uncle into the pool for fun.
Which was then followed by a lot of finger wagging and tuts.
Room requests were all met which was appreciated. Would we return to this hotel. Afraid not.Just not for us.

My husband and I stayed here after a recommendation from a family member.

The food is nice with great choice and a different theme each night. The a-la-carte restaurant is also worth a visit.

The evening entertainment is a bit dodgy and all in French. So if you don't speak French I wouldn't bother attending.

The best thing about this place is the staff, they work hard and make you feel welcome.

Would definitely recommend.

Bonjour.....Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Check in was simple. Food was great at the buffet with different varieties every day. Snack bar at front and pool bar was great. One day was cloudy but apart from that rest of the days had great sunshine. Majority of the people were french so mainly french spoken at hotel and entertainment was all in french..hotel staff did there best with english and much respect to them..the grounds were very clean. Everything was overall great but gave it 4 stars due to our bedroom having a really bad drain smell coming from the sink and shower..bedroom size and balcony was great..other thing is they need to change bedcovers every day and not every few days....hotel is centally located with a ferris wheel clise by and a lot of locals on the promenade and beach....hotel has private beach area which is clean and great...overall great and defo would go agen...
