If you're looking for a clean, friendly budget hotel in a great location this can't be beat.
Staff are all friendly & helpful. We had a triple room with 3 single beds & there was plenty of space, two wardrobes & a large bathroom. Our bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a curtain but the loo had a lockable door. Beds were comfy & room clean. Maid comes daily & cleans very well.Very quirky '80s does Art Deco' styling in the rooms & public areas. Some would say it needs updating but if you want luxury & stylish decor then there are plenty of other, pricier hotels to choose from. There was entertainment on 3 of the 5 nights we stayed. There are an awful lot of steps to negotiate & no lift so would probably be unsuitable for disabled/elderly or families with buggies. The rooms are set out in an unusual complex of two or three story buildings in a moorish style & look lovely with the clean white paint. Although the main building where reception & bar are does look a bit like a 70s bus depot from the outside :)
The location is great, just over 5 mins walk from the beach with lots of shops & restaurants right outside. Taxis readily available outside if needed.
On the downside the buffet style breakfast was very limited. Coffee from a big urn, no tea, one type of cereal but plenty of bread & croissants & a lady making pancakes, omelettes or crepes to order. Weak orange drink (not juice) was a bit horrible but they don't mind if you bring your own juice.
There was a buffet style evening meal available but it was expensive at about £12 per person. Plenty of cheap places to eat nearby away from the beach.
There was no hair dryer in the room & none available to borrow from reception so do pack your own.
Toilet cistern noisy at night & door a bit warped & tricky to lock/ unlock but these little niggles are expected in budget accommodation.
Pool area well kept but small, separate kids pool & poolside snack bar. Children's playground a bit limited but ok & reasonably safe looking. We didn't need it but wouldn't have had a problem with it when our kids were little although not suitable to leave kids unattended there due to proximity to pool & certainly not a hotel where you could let the kids run about due to all of the concrete steps in the complex.
Table tennis table near playground but a bit of a let down due to no bats/ ball being available. Again, pack a cheap bat & ball set if you want to use it!
Most rooms have a shared patio/ terrace area outside rather than a private balcony but this wasn't a problem as ours was quite big & only shared with one other room. Plastic patio chairs are in the room - we had to take ours in when we went out after they disappeared on the first day, no doubt 'borrowed' by other guests.
All in all good, clean accommodation close to all the things you need at a great price. We'd definitely go again & would certainly recommend the Tagadirt.

very nice hotel rooms are simple big and comfortable ,the price is great ,the location is in the heart of agadir beach front 5 minutes to the beach , staff are great helpful and when you need any assistance they respond quickly . kids swimming pool is nice near a play ground ,
parking in front of the hotel is free but the gard expect a tip which is a moroccan culture , 1£ a night will do. breakfast below average but for the price you are paying is a plus. the down side is the stairs wont be convinient for old people or people with disability ,
The bar is unpleasant with loud music , apart from that we enjoyed our stay in tagadirt hotel
please be reminded to be polite with the staff in moroccan culture you harvest what you plant.
we were polite to the staff and they went out of their way with us without any expectation
thanks to FATIHA in the reception .i will go back definately .

Room Tip: a super market is too mkiutes down the road near igoudar hotel they sale alcoholic beverage

The hotel is very clean, close to the beach and town centre (5 minutes walk) and the rooms are spacious, especially for the price (NB - EXCEPT the ground floor rooms - we asked to be changed after seeing a small and pokey one and were relocated to a bigger and brighter first floor room). The pool is lovely and, like the rest of the hotel, is very clean and the life guard was always there.

The only real downside is that this place is dated (70s style and no TV etc) and the breakfast is a bit of a let down (plentiful bread/jam/pancackes, but not good quality - pay £1 and eat brekkie by the beach instead!). But, all in all, for the price we were very impressed by the apartments, location and pool.

Room Tip: First or second floor rooms are bigger and brighter than ground floor ones.

Like most reviews for this hotel the concern is the amount of steps, coming and going from the apts
your staying in.Around the pool they were not very safety conscious with wet areas day&night with the lighting not that good at night not forgetting you had to walk around the pool to get to your apt.
Was not happy with availability of the snack area around the pool.Rooms ok,clean towels, sheets all changed regular,

Room Tip: higher rooms for more patio area.

Now this isnt the first time ive visited agadir. Ive stayed at various hotels and apartments. Before my friends and i arrived i didnt know what to expect, was very suprised this is by far the best (even though there were alot of steps and is a 3* appart hotel) and very accommodating place for the price that you pay. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. We wanted a room for four of us with a sea view. They gaves us just that a wonderfull apartment at the top of the hotel split in two by a spacious balcony, with a sea view and we were able to see the sunset every evening. Only down side would be the steps that never end. They cleaned our room every day and breakfast was simple yet nice, especially the lady with the amazing skill of making omlettes, scrambled eggs and fried bread things simultaneously. The reception staff were fantastic fatima was very helpfull and even played a bit of football with us in the lobby before we flew out (lol). The star of that hotel/appart was a lovely fella named shafique one of the managment team, there isnt a nicer man that we all came across on our holiday. He gave us advice on where to go and even went out of his way to take us on a personal tour of agadir. On my birthday he took us to massage palour for the world famous morrocan hamam and then to a wonderful fresh fruit smoothie stall hidden away in the heart of agadir (the best smoothie ive ever had) you my friend are an asset to that hotel and really made my week. The pool area was nice and refreshing to take a dip in after a walk along the beach. The bar and lounge are very accommodating, cappuccinos are the best, my favorite being the tea ala menthe (morrocan mint tea). There is a vendor selling all sorts right outside. The beach is 5 mins walk, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars and shops local to the hotel and during the walk to the beach. I for one and all my friends really enjoyed our stay and the staff. And will be making this hotel or choice of stay from now on.

After reading other reviews we decided before we arrived that it would be 'very basic and just somewhere to sleep'.........but we were wrong. It was so much better than we thought. Yes there are a lot of steps but if you come here knowing that then you'll be fine. It's very clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. If you have a problem (we had a problem in our loo, they offered to either change our room or fix it) they fix it straight away. Breakfast is okay......not 4* but what do you expect for the price. Didn"t sample dinner but snacks at lunchtime were lovely and great value!
The hotel is in a good location about 10 minutes from the beach with some great restaurants in the vacinity. It's not anywhere near as noisy as others have suggested.
We chose this hotel for a cheap week away but now I would choose this hotel for any type of holiday in Agadir.
