Liverpool Airport ~ Aircraft full of Pakistanis not doing what they were told, I felt sorry for the air stewardess they would not shut up when they were going through safety demonstration before take off. They would not put seat belts on!! one said I am not scared !!!! It was not a nice flight with them shouting down the aircraft to each other. walking around the aircraft when the pilot put the seatbelt sign on.

Agadir Airport.. We were 1 hour 30 mins to get through passport control. When you land you have to fill a card in with all your details on. passport number, well everything. Don't miss anything off otherwise you go to the back of the queue. another hour and a half..

Transfers.. We booked transfers because I read how taxi's try to rip us off. The transfer just left us, Cheers!!!!! I would just get a taxi to your hotel when you arrive there as there are thousands and are a fixed price which isn't too bad.

We changed some money at the airport and banks, none of them rip you off like they do in Europe with exchange.

Hotel Tivoli. Best Hotel for the price and location. it cost us £110.00 each for the Hotel half board.. pool area first class.. all staff very friendly. Now the down side!! Nothing to do in the evenings apart from walking the streets. They do have an English bar, rip off prices though.

Beach OK, nice sandy beach, not many tourist on it due to the mass of local people on it playing football everywhere they must not go to school.. or you get pestered with sellers. Most people stayed around their Hotel pools..

Would I return to Agadir maybe!! weather was brill, Hotel brill but nothing to do at night..

We wore there last week for 10 days one lazy holidays, Hotel was very nice, staff was super friendly from the first moument we were there.
Room was spacious, and very celan. Cleaning lady was wery nice and friendly woman, she kept our room in great condition. We choosed to hawe yust breakfast in hotel, becouse dinners we eat in ifferent restaurants beside sea. They were excellent. We got little bit tired from hotel breakfat during our stay. But I hawe to say that food was sipmle but nice and fresh.
Pool are in this hotel is great, sometimes we stayed there for lazy day and sometimes we had a glass of vine beside pool in night time.
This hotel in good choice for people who wannt nice and quiet relax.
The only thing I wish for was more entertaiment in hotel. There wore sinngers but they was not nice :)

We are definetly going back there one day :)

I am not one that would write a review but thought I would share my thoughts on this Hotel. Please see below as this will probably make your mind up on whether to choose this hotel:

Location - The hotel is in a good location. It is approximately 6 mins walk to the beach and 15 mins walk to the main beach front restaurants. The location is perfect as this side of the beach is less busy and you can enjoy a more relaxing time wihtout the hassle of locals.

Staff / Food - The staff at the hotel made this hotel a perfect and pleasant stay. They will cater for you in anyway. I am quite a fussy eater and even though breakfast was buffet, they would make me omelette on request at no cost. There are a lot of choices for breakfast and dinner. The food is also of good quality. The staff at the restaurant treat you great, especially Hammed (Hammy) who greets you at the door and shows you to your seat.

Rooms - The rooms are to a good standard. Very spacious and some great sea views in the distance. There is no fridge which was a let down and you had to pay to use the safe (25 Dirhams a day). They dont have an iron at the hotel but the lady at reception (Kadija) offered to iron our clothes at no cost which was great.

The hotel was kept very very clean by the staff. The poolside area was nice just to relax and you can also go for a midnight swim (at your own risk). There is WiFi at the lobby which is free and very fast.

I cant really point out any negatives on this hotel as we were treated very nicely by all of the staff.

We met a few people over there who were staying in different hotels. One hotel was the Royal Mirage Agadir Hotel (there is only one Royal Mirage hotel). Apparently this hotel is not the greatest as the food was stale and the staff were note helpful. The best thing about the Royal Mirage is the location as its pretty much on the doorstep of the strip of restaurants and nightlife.

I would still recommend that this is a great hotel for value and for location as very peaceful at night.

I hope this review has helped. Thanks

We have been visiting Agadir for 8 years now and in that time it has changed emormously (not all for the better) but the building of the full beach length promenade and various other changes are now complete and this gives it a more upmarket feel.
We have stayed in/viewed many hotels in those 8 years , the last 5 have been special discounted January/February 5 week long stay packages , and find that our needs have best been met at the Tivoli .
The hotel is in a quiet area 2 hundred yards from the beach and promenade from which there are walks one way towareds the Prince's Palace and sand dunes (out of bounds) and in the other direction the new marina .
The Tivoli has a full size and, unusually , heated swimming pool beutifully surrounded by trees shrubs and climbers part concealing the 4 main accomodation blocks .
The rooms are spacious and well equiped and some rooms have sea views , and the staff are friendly and helpfull .
Half board (a recommended option) has many varieties of food on offer (themed diners) which are visually as well as tastefully most satifying .
From Agadir you have access to the most beautifull coast and mountain scenery by car coach or Grand Taxi.
We will certainly be at the Tivoli again next January ,Insha'Allah (God Willing) .

We stayed for two nights and were pleased. Our room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. The breakfast buffet was a nice addition. We spent a whole day by the pool and it was pleasant and clean. (Due to GI issues we wanted to be close to a bathroom and not on the beach!) The beach is a short walk away and there is even a little grocery-type shop across the road. There is a little fitness centre but none of the machines are plugged in so you can't change the resistance! The boardwalk in Agadir is great to run/walk along. Would stay here again.

This is a hotel where you want to go as a family watching your budget. For the price, you won't find a better value in Agadir. It has a lovely pool, average rooms, average restaurant, free WIFI in the reception area. This is not a luxury hotel, but a very well priced hotel for Agadir. I stayed twice this month and found it an excellent hotel for the price I paid. Yes, there are better hotels at three times the price. For the price, you won't find one better in Agadir.

I wouldn't say this was a typical 4* hotel. It had everything but it had seen it's best days. The rooms were huge, the staff were lovely, the poolside gardens were very well kept. I loved the unusual breakfast but don't expect a fry-up! The bread was homemade and fresh and there was an abundance of everything. Some things were not to british tastes (like black olives (for breakfast??) or hot prunes or semolina pudding or salad). I would highly recommend the madeira style cake, topped with fresh orange slices and honey and yogurt, it was lovely. Loads of french bread too. Bathrooms were very clean and I had a suite which was luxurious if painted a dim green which made it a bit dark. Cocktails by the pool = £3.20. The health spa was pricey I thought at £5 for jacuzzi and £5 for sauna, steam room free. Massages were dearer than local hammam too so I avoided that. Very few british guests, mostly german. I would return again as it was good value. Also avoid the British Pub down the road - total rip off.
