“A warm welcome to Maroc!”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

When you like us for the first time visit Maroc and your plane arrives late in the afernoon you must book a room in la Porte des Etoiles. Even when we stayed only one night in La Porte de Etoiles, one day for departure , we got a telephone message from mister Duprė , the owner. He asked us if we liked that he picked us up at the airport.( included!) Very very very nice and helpfull. In the evening he brought us to a nice little restaurant. With kindly people and very good fish food.
It's an understanding that with such kind of ospitality our room was very good, clean and with good beds. In the morning we met a French couple at te breakfast table. Also that was nice. We feel at home in Maroc! Mister Duprė thank you very well!!!

Just wanted a cheap hotel for a couple of nights. When we stood outside, we couldn't see, this is a hotel. OK, it's only for two nights... Then the door opened. What a surprice! It's like stepping into a Moroccan home. (I think) only 4 rooms, but what an atmosphere! Warm, kind, helpfull people running this place in such a relaxed way. Clean and neat - and the owner speak english, not very common in Morocco.
We highly recommend this little hotel. It's difficult to find, far from the "tourist route" and in no way a luxury hotel but if you want something different - go there!

This unpretentious hotel delivers huge value for money, hospitality and service. We stayed for just one night en route to Taroudannt but were bowled over by the genuineness of the welcome and painstaking attention to our needs. It was our first trip to Morocco and we chose the hotel specifically for the convenience of the airport transfer (included in the price); Agadir city is some distance from the airport and transport connections, other than taxis, looked to be indirect. The pickup was highly efficient and the meal we'd requested on arrival (one of us is vegetarian) was freshly cooked and enjoyed. We had a quiet night's sleep, an excellent breakfast and a lift to the bus station all in. It makes us wonder what service we 'd have got on a Sunday night in late October in a comparably-sized English town!
