Spent a few hours on the promenade it was a pleasant experience however downside was lack of eating places had to walk to far end to get something to eat and even that was a choice between Macdonalds and pizza hut!

Lovely beach area here with soft sand. An ideal place for those that like a walk or to lay and chill. The odd camel can be seen walking along.

I enjoyed walking by the sea at night. On most nights there was young people playing music and light entertainment.

Well worth a good walk to see what is on offer. Some nice restaurants to eat at and the Marina is quite good.

The promenade stretches several miles around the whole bay from Founty Beach to the Marina. It is very well maintained and provides a very pleasant, flat walk between the numerous hotels & the beach

Very clean prom and highly guarded by police and armed forces makes you feel very safe as you take a stroll out, beautiful views of the mountain as you walk along

We went for a few strolls with family and friends here, it's a nice walk and some good food places. You do get some locals coming and trying to sell stuff and also some begging, baring that's it's a good walk and beautiful beach to chill out.

If I woud be King, i'd make it illegal to harass tourist like that. I'd pay those people for each kg plastic they can collect from the beach. Which would be a win-win situation: they at least earn money, and there would be less garbage and rubbish lying on the beach.

Safe, great walking on the promenade, and watch the sea and the inhabitants enjoying the seafront, and taste marvellous food in small restaurants at the beach, visit small museums
