“Surprise drive by!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2012

Traveling through Iowa I was not expecting to find excellent seafood. A lunch stop that was delightful! Walked in and were greeted by a case of very fresh seafood for sale. Ordered a great Bloody Mary, surely their own recipe with a bowl of crab bisque and a poke salad. Our table of five all were delighted with their selections. Service was generous!

“Second time, and we will be back again!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2012

My husband ordered the coconut shrimp, and I ordered the paste with salmon. We were not disappointed. I did notice that many other customers around us were enjoying sushi. Something I never order. Walking past the bar area I noticed it was packed with customers, and also a long waiting line of customers waiting for seating when we left at 6:30. However, we where there on a Friday night. We have enjoyed meals at seafood resturants on the east coast, west coast,Hawaii, Alaska, and in Europe.... I am not comparing the Waterfront to these locations, but for a seafood place in the Heartland of Iowa - It is good.

“Seafood”

Pretty decent for the midwest but not exceptional. Sushi is not very good. There is better in Ankeny. Friendly service. Average prices.

“Quick, Easy, and Yummy - but $5 charge for bread what gives!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2012

Visted Waterfront with co-workers and it is a nice quick and easy lunch that beats hitting the fast food chains in the area. Ordered the Calm Chowder and love love love it! Very yummy! Co-Worker had Osyter Stew and claims its the best hes ever had! Only thing I dislike is they CHARGE you for bread! Server asked us if we wanted bread and we said yes and found a $5 charge on our bill for it!!!! But we got a huge basket of crackers with our soups. CRAZY!
