“Relaxing Dinner”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

Had a very nice meal here this evening with another couple. Used a "deal coupon" so had $40 to use. Two of us had the sirloin/shrimp combo. My steak was very good and cooked as I had asked to medium. The shrimp were good size and about 6 of them I think. The summer squash side was very flavorful and not overcooked to mush. The other two in the party had the pork chop and reported that it was very good. We had an appetizer of fried mushrooms and fried green beans. Came nice and hot and the dipping sauce was good. Drink refills were offered several times and came promptly. Two of us had dessert--apple crumble and blueberry crumble, both with added ice cream. I ate it all but should have shared--it was a large serving and came nice and warm to the table. Our bill after the coupon and before the tip was about $60. One of us had a beer in addition to ice tea. They were not particularly busy this evening and were just seating people in the upstairs dining room or outdoors. There were large booths and tables. Looks like there is lots of room for crowds downstairs and some outdoor seating as well. The history of the barn on the menu is interesting. It is very nicely refurbished as a restaurant. When we exited the restaurant the air "smelled like money" but that's what you get in the country!

“Do you have all day to eat?”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

waited an hour an a half for a fish sandwich and a drink. the drink I had to ask for three times. No refills. One of the most horrible dining experiences I have ever had. Hope the place falls in a hole.

“Say "NO" to the lasagne”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

We went to Teddy's on a 2/$20 night and ordered the lasagne - we both ended up with food poisoning and were sick a few hours after we got home. Will not go back - wouldn't take another chance.

“Zero stars!”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

To bad there are no zeros because this was the worst place we've ever eaten! Don't have to worry about drinking and driving because it takes over an hour to get drinks refilled. Serving sizes are tiny. We ordered a well done sirloin and got a rare steak that was crispy burnt on the outside. The shrimp was cold and prime rib was 14 ounces 12 of which was fat. The waitress came to the table twice. Once to take our order the second time to make sure we got charged for drinks another waitress had brought us. This is the place to go if you are on a diet or looking to waste a LOT of time. Absolutely horrible.... Going somewhere else to eat an actual dinner!
