“Flowers and Much More”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

I live in Ames and from time to time I visit Reiman Gardens. There is always something new to see. The outdoor exhibits, depending on the season, are varied and fun. There have been Lego exhibits, dinosaurs and giant gnomes, to name a few. The outdoor gardens meander farther than you would think if you drive by it on University Blvd.

Indoors there is the wonderful butterfly pavilion where you can walk among butterflies and see species not normally found in the Mid-west or North America. There is also a gift shop, of course!

Reiman Gardens also is a great place for a wedding reception or a class reunion.

I highly recommend it for a visit or for a fun event.

“Little Slice of Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Reiman Gardens is an amazing and serene place all at once. We held a family reunion there and it was spectacular-- the staff went out of their way to accommodate and anticipate our every need. It helped that it was a gorgeous day, too, for everyone to wander at their leisure through the gardens and to go through the Butterfly House. The Butterfly House has a calming effect no matter your mood when you enter-- you will leave feeling better for having seen so much beauty in one place.

Wonderful place to take grandchildren of all ages. The Butterfly house is their favorite spot in the Garden's. We also enjoy taking photos of all the colorful flowers and other art pieces. Very relaxing!

“Worth the trip for everyone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Reiman Gardens has beautiful flowers and landscape plants, both in the conservatory and outside. It is a must-visit for gardeners. The Rose Garden is an award-winning standout flower garden, and don't miss the Home Production Vegetable Garden if you're a vegetable gardener. A lovely pond and small hill/prairie area provide perfect places to walk.

Children will love the interactive features like the jump-on-them chimes, pump water frogs, and the butterfly house.

“Great Garden”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Reiman Gardens is one of the better gardens in the mid-west. They have a great series of gardens around the grounds, rose garden, herb garden, children's garden, and others. They also have a very nice Butterfly garden in a greenhouse, one comment plan on going to the Butterfly garden on an overcast day, unless you like getting very hot.
