On nights with live horse races this makes for a nice time to enjoy the weather. We recently went to watch the races and took our 3 year old and 11 year old. They loved it! they enjoyed watching the races, being able to be so close to the track and all the room they had to run around was amazing. All while we could sit by close and watch both the races of the horses and our kids :)
the weather was amazing and made for a nice enjoyable night

We ate at the buffet at Praire Meadows. The food was very good and labeled wonderfully so it was easy to find the type of food you wanted. They even had sugar free deserts available.

First time here and tried almost everything. Basic drinks are included on buffet price, $12 for supper so not bad. If you want alcoholic, need to order when you purchase buffet. I had potato and leek soup, very tasty. They have two salad bars, traditional build your own and then prepared salads with 2 soup options. They had traditional home style turkey and dressing, cheesy potatoes (good), mashed with gravy, mix vegs, Chinese was Mongolian beef (5 spice seasoned and not that great) or almond chicken ( chicken pieces were excellent but veg items so so. Rice was overdone. Rangoons and sweet/sour sauce was very good, with pineapple pieces. Ravioli with sausage was good, cheese manicotti was excellent. Chicken broccoli Alfredo was dull. They also had liver and onions, which seemed popular. Their bread was excellent. Dessert bar was almost anything you could crave, including full-scale sundae bar. Would definitely recommend and come back for more. Bring your appetite! Service was friendly, prompt and efficient.
