“Hit the specails.... NICE”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

In town for a class and most of the local instructors said that this was a good spot. Went there with a larger group and was told the special was New York Strip, salad and choice potato for $7.99!!!! Most of ordered this and thus I think we over ran the kitchen. We had an hour for lunch and used an hour and 15 minutes!!!! Still was a good steak and good atmosphere for the day. Kept the drinks full and the food was hot and tastey.

“Neighborly place to dine”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

We enjoy Fireside for that casual, mid week "eat out' after a long day. If you were to ask me for food recommendations, I would suggest starting with their onion rings or crispy wings (skip the Louisana Shrimp ~ other things are so much better), then move on to the breaded tenderloin or one of their pizzas like Cheeseburger or Graziano Sausage. And, if you're over 21, don't for get the beer. They have happy hour specials and it's served in icy, icy mugs. Sometimes it can get a little noisy but that's kind of what you expect from a neighborly hangout where good friends gather.

“Friendly bartender may have encouraged us to stay a little longer”
Reviewed March 1, 2012

We sat in the bar area for dinner and was surprised by how friendly the bartend was to everyone. After our first drinks, she nailed it every time without asking what we were drinking. It wasn't that she wasn't busy, but it seemed she did it with everyone. When we asked for menu recommendations she named a few, pointed them out on the menu and even listed specials. It was a good experience and we have gone back again, and sat in the bar section. Cheeseburger soup, great!
