This museum is hidden in a sleepy little Indiana town, but the side trip is worth every twist and turn. Cord, Auburn and Dusenberg were all premium brand autos from the 20s and 30s and here is where they are enshrined. The collection is one beautiful car after another. An excellent volunteer staff was all too ready to discuss details and history of almost any vehicle in this vast collection, which made up for a not too clear descriptive or interactive explanation. Loved the Indiana auto section which included Frank Lloyd Wright's Crosly Hot Shot. This is a car lovers must vist..

so much to see, we could have spent hours just looking at all the old cars! The gift shop was so nice, I wish there was more time to see it all.

What makes the museum even better, is the fact that it's in part of the original facility. So much history exists there. The cars are so amazing. Many other cars on display also. And with the National Car &Truck Museum out back in part of the original manufacturing and assembly plant, what a real plus. Start with this museum. If you have AAA you get $2 off. You then get a discount book for the museum out back, and others in twn.
