We met at the Inn at Windmere for a small family reunion. Gorgeous home with well appointed rooms. Each room has it's own bathroom. The welcoming from porch has chairs and rockers, there's a lovely pool, a hammock, and a gazebo. The living room has welcoming couches -comfy enough to warrant a nap both days we were there. Breakfast was delicious with eggs from the farm's chickens, fresh fruit, waffles, potatoes, and homemade blueberry coffee cake. There was always homemade cookies and pound cake in the kitchen. The owners, Susie and Paul, were a delight. They are warm, welcoming, and very interesting to talk with. They truly enjoy making their home a place for a memorable stay.

We spent a long weekend with our extended family. Everything was perfect. The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast was bountiful. There were fresh baked goodies on the kitchen counter at all times. Susie and Paul were terrific hosts. We also enjoyed the sights of Auburn.

My daughter and I stopped here on our way to Chicago. We had an enjoyable and peaceful evening. There was a nice country road for walking, puzzle time, beautiful harp playing and a wonderful breakfast.

We met at the Inn at Windmere with 4 other couples for an overnight stay & a few meetings. The meeting space they provided us was perfect for us, relaxing & cozy. The Inn itself is beautiful & clean. The rooms were lovely & the beds were comfortable (heated blankets!). The breakfast exceeded expectations and included delicious waffles with topping, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. We were also treated to snacks and beverages during out entire stay. We hope to come back for our next retreat!

Room Tip: 2 rooms have a fireplace!

My 9yo and I were very thankful to find the Inn at Windmere and even more thankful to have met Paul and Susie. Our entire experience at the Inn was a blessing. Our only disappointment, according to my little gal, was that our stay wasn't longer. She is already trying to figure out when we can return.

Paul and Susie definitely contributed to a memorable time away. The quickest way to a parent's heart is for someone to be kind to their children...they were more than kind and welcomed and embraced us so well. We will look forward to our return!

Room Tip: Sunrise suite
