Altogether the foundry COULD be a very enjoyable eatery and drinkery if it were not for the horrible service. If you are just going to get dinner and eat it with your hands with nothing to drink you will probably be pleased as the food arrived very quickly(the kitchen staff brings out the food) but, all the drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic took way way too long(average of 30 min). On top of the outrageously slow service the waitress was very rude, rarely checked on us, and NEVER asked if we needed anything. We needed to stop her as she was leaving the table to get refills and fulfill other routine requests. None of the empty plates or drinks were cleared from the table while we sat for over an hour, it made the experience rather uncomfortable. I waitressed my way through collage and high school so I am extremely tolerant and empathetic towards fellow waitresses! It's simple if a waitress cannot handle a certain amount of customers, the sections should be smaller, the wait times for drinks are unacceptable and there is no excuse for a rude waitress being polite and charismatic is the most important part of the job! Later in the night my group moved to another section where we were told their was a wait staff. After an hour we finally saw the first waitress come through. She basically ran through and attempted to exit without doing anything, we flagged her down . There was a major sporting event that was only on one TV. We requested that the event be turned on another TV the waitress rolled her eyes at us and said she had no control over the TVs but would send some one in....No one ever came in to change the cannel for us. In summary the kitchen staff is grate, the "betting" staff (cashier in other room) is also very good, but something needs to be done about the wait staff and managers in charge of the wait staff. At those drink prices the service needs a lot of improvement before I will return to the foundry.
