“Unique Dining Experience”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Affordable, friendly and unique!! The menu is unlike any other menu! Bison meatloaf is wonderful - next time I may ask for the sauce on the side because I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. It's not super spicy but does have a kick. A great place to visit and eat with friends.

“Very disappointing!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Loved the Roundhouse when it was open as Payton's....the current bill of fare tries way to hard to be hip.....the prices are way to high for small portions, and few choices.....no Jack Daniels, really??? The graft beers are nice, but do not justify the a trip there.

“Great Lunch!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Just stopped in for a bite of lunch and a beer and it was excellent. Had the Cobb salad and Roundhouse salad and both were delicious. Add an Outlaw and a Laughing Panda and lunch was tasty and refreshing. We will enjoy this as a lunch spot all summer long. The service was immediate and the bartender Bret was friendly and informative about the restaurant and upcoming events both at the Roundhouse and the city of Aurora.

“Beautiful space, relaxed food”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

The building that houses this restaurant is unique and inspiring. It was built before the Civil War! It was saved by Walter Payton, the famous Chicago Bears running back! You don't have to be an architecture nerd to love the courtyard, high wooden ceilings, and beautiful structural details.

Sure, the food is not the tippy-top best. But if you stick to simple dishes, you can have a nice meal here, with a nice glass of fresh beer.

“Great food, beer and ambiance.”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Menu is unique and the craft beers rock! Great outdoor dining when the weather is warm, but I also love to stop in the bar for a wonderful lunch anytime of the year.
