Food is always good. Sometimes it it nice to sit in the lounge and have some wine and a bite to eat. Resturant gets very busy after 6.

“Mixology Night Event”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

Four girls in our Girls Night Out group went to the Mixology event at Coopers Hawk last night and I can't say enough good things about it. We were greeted with a specialty cocktail as we entered the room and they just kept coming. We had 4 specialty cocktail along with 3 different varieties of wine. Dinner was superb. We stated with 3 different appetizers, a wonderful salad, charcuterie, the main dish and then the most heavenly desert! Butter cake with fresh fruit and gelato. Not only were the cocktails and food wonderful but the mixologist and the chef did demonstrations. If you ever have a chance to attend a Coopers Hawk event don't pass it up! Wonderful evening overall.

“Ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

This is our special occasion restaurant and we went to this location because the Wheeling location was unable to accommodate our reservation. The atmosphere was different but not in a bad way. Our server was attentive, and refilled soft drinks without being asked. This location was also good to our 7 yo son. Unfortunately the food was not as good as the other location. They DO have the most amazing pretzel bread. Definitely ask for it!

“Don't bother”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2014 via mobile

We flew in from the west coast and read the reviews and we picked Coopers Hawk for a dinner with the family. As soon as we arrived we were confronted with the volume of noise as we entered the bar to wait for our table in the main dining hall. And this was 6:30 on a Thursday evening. As we entered the main dining room I realized that the high noise level was not just confined to the bar but existed there as well. It was impossible to have a normal conversation with the person across from you without raising your voice to be heard. We began to eat our salads when our waiter informed me that there had been a miscommunication and our entrées were ready. So we ended up rushing through our first course resulting in messy spills. My main course was cold when it arrived. BTW, Again, We are from the west coast and if your staff could get the correct pronunciation of Oregon when informing people about grape origin it would help. I felt like we were caught in the middle of a training gone wrong. Too many choices for this sub par experience.

“An all time favorite!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2014

Went with a group of 6. Requested a round table. We were seated in the barrel room which was very nice. (would be great for private parties, too). Even though Coopers specializes in wine, I had a Tequila martini that was to die for! I LOVE Coopers Hawk food and usually end up with one of 3 things off the menu. Since we were with a group we started with appetizers that were fantastic. Manager Joe brought us to our table and made sure we were well taken care of. Overall a wonderful evening and look forward to our return.
