We had a lovely visit. Although it was Sunday and many of the attractions were not open, the Amish museum was very interesting and the owner is very enthusiastic about the gardens and facilities. Our visitors enjoyed the afternoon there, especially the ride in the Amish buggy. We would definitely bring visitors there again.

We went to Rockome Gardens recently and were SO disappointed. We were there approx. 15 years ago and it honestly looks as if there has not been any upkeep since that time! Attractions actually had yellow caution tape around them!! The $10 admission fee was a total waste of money. We were there with another couple - none of us will ever go back.

There is a lot to do and see. But the place needs a multi million dollar make over. In Aug 2012 is hit with a severe drought. The gardens are in OKish shape. The buildings and structures need some help but are OK. There is a Amish museum, a little town area that has a bakery, candy maker, blacksmith, saw mill, one room school house. Still worth the stop but my expectations were too high.

the price you pay just to walk around is way high.who want to pay just too see flowers and ride the buggy around what you have already seen, and a train into the woods

Beautiful rock work, wonderful gardens and fun extra activities. Even the kids had a great time at this garden. There is an awesome play structure to help tire the kids out. We also got to enjoy a tractor ride and a horse & carriage ride. Great store with TONS of different cheeses, jellies, baked items and more! Worth stopping at.
