        Thieves

        They stole my Kindle. I will never stay here again and I come to Alton often. Walls are thin so you hear everyone going in and out. this review needs to be 200 characters. what can you say when my room is right across from the laundry. The staff sees me leave and they steal my Kindle from the safe. What good is a safe? Carpets are filty dirty and housekeeping couldn't even get the sheets on. they were half off.

        Three Nights

        My wife and I were very comfortable at the Super 8. The room was clean and the service was very good.

        small, crowded room

        1. we booked 1st floor rooms, but the hotel is really bi-level. From the lobby, it is 7 steps down to the 1st fl rooms & 7 steps up to 2nd fl. I had a hip replacement & this made it very difficult.
        2. Not only was the doorway at the room entrance "super small", but the room was overcrowded with the furniture. you could barely turn around without bumping into something. The small doorway made you wonder what would happen in a fire and it gave a person the feeling of entering a prison cell.
