Description: Great service and atmosphere aren't the only reasons people have been making the trip to Tony's for over 60 years. Tony's is the home of the World Famous Pepperloin Steak. This beef tenderloin is marinated in Tony's secret marinade, rolled in half cracked black pepper, grilled to perfection, and drizzled with garlic butter. After one bite of this mouth watering steak, you will never want steak from another restaurant again. It is so tender it can be cut with a butter knife, and it practically melts on your palette. If steaks are not for you, Tony's offers 20 different home made specialty pastas, along with a delicious selection of seafood and chicken dishes. Tony's boasts an impressive wine list with several by the glass selections, even the most discriminating wine aficionado will be in heaven. For an after dinner don't miss the Italian Delight, Tony's version of the ice cream drink, The Brandy Alexander. Tony's also offers a 60 seat bar area and charming sidewalk cafe.

Tony's has a new location and we wanted to try it. Met some friends there on a Tuesday night around 4:30, seated right away. Our server, Meka, was prompt getting our drink order. They have scaled the restaurant menu back but kept a lot of the main items they are known for. Love the new menu, it is to the point and not too wordy or long that you get lost in it. I had the Shrimp Scampi, about 10 nice sized grilled shrimp on a bed of linguini. It was delicious. Entrees come with 2 sides, I had a salad and steak fries. Lots of dressing on the salad. Hubby had a 12 oz. Pepperloin, baked potato and salad. Said the pepperloin was really good, as it usually is. My friend had the Chicken Parmesan and said it was delicious. Love the new location.

Have had the pepper loin steak here about four times in the last 20+ years, but not in the last 5 years. Knew that there had been some poor reviews when the family had two different locations opened and that they were back down to this one. Well, the other night confirmed that they are back up to their old, excellent standards.

Dinner began with an excellent, hearty beef vegetable soup (not salt). My husband had the pepper soup which was a soup version of stuffed peppers which he very much enjoyed. We all had the pepper loin steaks done barely medium and they arrived in perfect form, tender and flavorful.

Two of our group had delicious mushrooms topping their steaks. Sides ranged from pasta with meat sauce -- wonderfully meaty and flavorful to mine of pasta with broccoli which was also excellent. I was expecting the pasta and broccoli to be in a garlic oil sauce but it came with Alfredo of which I am not a big fan. My "bad" for not inquiring.

Prices remain reasonable for the quality. Had needed reservations for a Friday night -- the tables were full from 6:00 when we arrived to 7:30 when we left.

Definitely hope we get back to this area sooner rather than later so we can return!

I dined at Tony's with about 20 co-workers recently. Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess greeted us with an attitude like we were putting her out by asking where we needed to be. She pointed to the door and told us to go through it instead of walking us to the door and to our table. We opened the door she indicated and we found a long hallway with several doors. Not wanting to disturb the hostess again we just wandered down the hall until we found another hostess stand. This group of ladies, our service and the food were awesome. I will definitely go back to this place but refrain from asking any questions until seated.
