“manager likes to pick his customers”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

We used to come here almost every week for years. Our kids love the food and it is definitely a kid friendly restaurant. But we have seen the manager (seems to be the same one on the days we come) cater to people he knows too often and is not very friendly to others. They ran out of balloons and told the kids there were only orange ones left, but he pulled out a big box for someone he knew and filled all the colors they wanted right up. The rest of the kids in the restaurant (even the birthday kids) got orange half filled.
When he makes rounds to a barely full restaurant he doesn't say hello to everyone.
We have also seen him bring out Red Robin for "special customers" but not for other kids (again on their birthday).

The teens and college students that work there are very kind and accommodating. The food is average. Burgers and fries. We have since been there about 5 times in a year. I think we are done with this location.

“Best place if you have food alergies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2012

I went to dinner with a dear friend who has a wheat, soy, and dairy alergy. We have a hard time finding places to eat that do not use any dairy or soy to cook with things. Red Robin has a huge selection for those with all kinds of alergies. IT is the best menu around. The waiter was very understanding and new the answers to most the questions right off hand and if he was unsure he asked. That alone is worth the trip here. The food is good and pretty well priced. The onion tower is great.

We love the food here! Every time we go we try different sandwiches and it has yet to disappoint! I couldn't ever order and appetizer or dessert, the portions are HUGE! Unlimited fries, ugh, not good if you want to diet!!

“Burgers and Endless Fries”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

The food was good and the endless fries make you want to keep getting more. The location is Algonquin, Il is very noisy and lots of kids running around. Did visit the location in Hoffman Estates, Il and this was set up differently and was not a noisy. Will return there.

“What's the big deal about a burger?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

I couldn't imagine why everyone was ranting and raving but now I know! Wow, probably one of the best burgers I've ever had.
