Boaters love the lake. Camping is spectacular for everyone from tenters to the big rigs. Hiking and biking trails everywhere. Also, DO NOT miss the museum on the grounds. It is free and gives a great overview of when this park was one of our biggest Naval Bases in WWII.

One of the most spectacular setting, deep blue lake surrounded by sheer mountains. Once secluded trails are now logging roads as the park is being commercially logged. This is a tragedy for anyone who loves to experience natural settings rather than a tree farm. After they log the lake shore it will be especially tragic. The shoreline trail is fantastic, the part that has not been logged, see it while you can in all its natural splendor.

Beautiful, well maintained camping spaces for tents, campers, rvs. Great family swimming spot at Buttonhook Bay. Nature hikes, trails along the lake. I love it!

Last minute camping trip proved to be a blast with lots of gorgeous scenery. The Bat Class was actually very fun!
